Truthfully, wat is the worst anime you've ever seen?
For me, it was Ninja Resurrection. But the style was very cool and almost like an american comic book!

Nothing tops my list but CAT SOUP! Awful, AWFUL movie!
Fighting Foodons/Bistro Recipe is another. Ok seriously, some anime kiddie stuff can be good but WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!
Also, Angel Sanctuary. I stopped at the second OVA when it looked like things were going to get serious. Mou, I thought it would be a nice show about angels fighting demons!
Maybe I'll also recognize Ebichuu on here. I mean... cute little hampster! And everyoen said it was "the funniest thing they've seen".... *cough* no, just no.

Nazca takes the place of worst on my list. Along with it are Key the Metal Idol (how many shower scenes can you cram into a single plot line?), Neo Ranga (pretty pointless) and Silent Mobius (all the cliches of anime rolled into one). I'm sure there are worse out there, I've just managed to avoid them.

Sorry if I'm spoiling (don't kill me) the fun, but does "a worst" anime even exist. I have enjoyed all that I have seen. For me they all had there own uniqueness about them which can't make them worse than the other, but if I have to say, it'll be Cats Eye

u_u Mao-chan....I got stuck in a showing of Mao-chan in one convention while I was waiting for a showing of s-CRY-d. It was the WORST thing I've ever seen. I wished to gouge my eyes out. It was very painful.

Blue Gender.
Had a nice ending song for the anime, but as for the story. Blah!
As for a movie. I have to say Gundam F91.

I would rent it frist. I was lucky to see it at AWA this year.
It just wasn't my cup of tea for UC Gundam Storyline. And the fact that just every storyline from Gundam to CCA was put in there was just something that I couldn't handle.

Hmm, I doubt it would be at blockbuster, but I'll prolly get a bootleg.

The thing that I guess that got me more was the cyber newtype.
The main bad guy was what they called a cyber newtype. He was hook up to something like a computer in his MS or if you even call what he fought in a MS. He could send out his brain waves out and take control of any MS that he wanted for I think he could when they were close to him. He was also, what I call, the man in the iron mask or better yet, acted like Death Vader with a head cold. And the main weapon that the Crossbone Vanguard was going to use to wipeout everyone on earth was called bugs. They were nothing more then UFO with guns and would spin around and try to run over people or cut them up.
I would have to say De:Vadasy. It was one of my first titles I've ever bought. It seems like a good Evangelion knock off, and funny thing is I've tried watching it three times and fell asleep each time.
Also another was Escaflowne the movie. My friend made me watch it and I just dosed off on that one too. Just didn't seem to interest me.
*ducks to avoid thrown objects*

I had to force myself to watch Legend of Crystania the movie. I kept thinking it was going to get better. Then the credit roll came and put me out of my misery.

That's part of the Lodoss War saga. I was thinking about buying it, but the guy at Suncoast said "Don't bother, it sucks."
What makes it even more amusing is that it's being advertised as part of the "Essential Anime Collection."
I've heard "Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals" was pretty bad...

Yes and no. It has nothing to do with any of the other Lodoss anime/manga (I'm a big Lodoss fan). It's written, animated, and produced by totally different people. I think somewhere along the line, rights to characters from the original novels were swapped and that's why Ashram and Pirotess appear (although, mostly in name).

I liked that a lot actually, but mebbe thats because I'm so random and wierd.
I would say Ninja Ressurection... I turned it off part way through.
Reign...O.O baaad armor.

I agree that FLCL is awful, but I've also seen MOST of Lain, and that is quite possibly BOTH the strangest and worst anime that I've ever seen. Not quite up my alley, I guess.

Ya, I though N.R. would get better, but it became the worst. And it was SO gory and sick. Plus it was blasphemous.

Worst I've ever seen? I rather not say since it's a title whose name should not be even mentioned lest lightning strike the lips that utter it. But it had a girl who had a job reporting on the weather. That's all I'm saying.
There have been some rather popular ones I didn't care for as well. I've given my opinion on one of them - Escaflowne - in another thread similar to this one. But I also have little use for RahXephon (you know you’re in trouble when they have to produce a movie to explain what happened in the series because no one could figure it out), Dai Guard (nothing sadder than trying to be funny and failing), or Gasaraki (the tragic tail of a family forced to deal with the issues surrounding the son, tragically struck with CDD - Compulsive Dance Disorder).

The worst anime ive ever seen is by far Zoids (yea theres an anime) or anyone of those other "animes". They are so dreadful! I hate when they combine Computer Animation with drawings. Its SO bad!

I think it was inventive, with great mecha designs. But hey, you're entitled to your opinion.
I'd have to say the worst quality anime I've seen was...umm...SD GUndam Force. It was crap.
The worst content-wise? Hmm...I dunno. I guess Evangelion...even though I saw just a little of it.

Blood The Last Vampire in my opinion the worst anime I've ever seen.
Decent animation is not exactly why I come to Anime. I come to Anime to have a decent story that most american movies, tv shows and cartoons lack.
Blood The Last Vampire has NO story. Now I've heard that if you wanna story to it, you have to read the manga as well as play the video games. Still that doesn't make up for the lack of story in the anime.

Truthfully...Digimon, Beyblade, Zoids, Pokemon, and that Gundam stuff are all tied. x.o Those are the animes that my brother watches, and I can't stand them. ^^; I am sure there are more, but I just can't think of them right now...

Hoo-boy, Tsukikage Ran and Wild Arms are by far the worst I've seen, and I didn't even get past the first discs! Another would have to be Gundam: 08th MS Team. I'm a huge Gundam fan, but that one just didn't do it for me (especially with that *ahem* bath scene near the beginning... not a good choice).

Heh heh heh...
worst animes ever: Final Fantasy Unlimited (geez... how cliche can you get?)
and Mon Colle Knights (way back from FoxKids)
The worst anime ive ever seen is by far Zoids
I didn't like it until the ones with Van. (Those ones were good)
Mon Colle nights was actually pretty cute...I mean, c'mon, it's on Fox Kids, you gotta expect cheesiness...
The worst Anime I've ever seen...well I've seen nothing bad content-wise, but the most irritating/weird yet has got to be Fighting Foodons (pleeeeease...
) and...please, don't kill me...Yu-Gi-Oh!. It isn't about the show; really it's not that annoying, but it's too occultic for my tastes (I like Inuyasha but Yu-Gi-Oh! is a little over-the-top in my own humble opinion). I mean, a boy getting possessed by the spirit of an ancient Egyptian pharoah to gain power just so he can win a card game...?

Ultamite Muscle, if that even counts as anime. Also, Blue Gender and Mobile Suit Gundam. I thought they were pretty bad...<.< >.> eep! Don't kill me! *hides from MSG fans* If it makes any difference, the MSG PS2 game is really good!! ^_^''

Sailor Moon.
*Please don't kill me.* I'll probably see worse, but that takes the cake so far.
