Jaka: I'll take over from here. Vote on who's the better Bishonen and Bishojo--Ashitaka or Haku, and San and Chihiro/Sen!

Um...I love both Ashitaka and Haku, but I think Haku just has a little more bishie-ness than Ashitaka. I think it's the eyes. (Ashitaka is a better warrior, though. XD)

As for the Bishojo...well, I'm a girl. XD But I think San looks better than Chihiro.

Two things:

1. Miyazaki uses pretty much the same design for all of his main characters in most of his movies.

2. Ashitaka and San are probably twice the age of Haku and Chihiro (well maybe not Haku, since he's a river spirit, but he still has the body of an eight year old).

Nausicaä? Nausicaä, anyone?

Ashitaka is NOT that cute *shot* Haku is ^_^ And niether Sen or San are good looking. *Shot again* *fends them off with Castle in the Sky and Kikki's Delivery Service*

Can't vote between Sen and Ashitaka, but I'm going to have to agree with CDLviking that Haku and San are pretty much the same character (drawn anyway).

Ashitaka's cuter, I guess... but Haku [spoiler]can turn into a dragon[/spoiler] so that makes it a tough decision.

I'm not one to vote on cute girls, but as I was looking at the pictures, I thought, "Chihiro is a child!" So for that reason I'll vote for San. And because she runs with wolves.

Haku and San? They aren't even the same gender or age. I was thinking more along the lines of San, Nausicaa, and the girl from Laputa whose name I can't remember right now.

It's been awhile, and I sold Laputa to another seminarian.

There might be a Nausicaa contest later, but for now it's Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away.

(By the way, Haku's body isn't 8, it's 12. And Ashitaka is not in his late twenties, obviously. I'd say he's about 16...)

That is a very small 12 year old.

THe characters from Grave of the Fireflies look simmilar to the ones in Miyazaki films - they came out of Studio Ghibli. If you DO look at old Disney films you'll find the character designs nauseatingly simmilar at times.

But this isn't a lookalike contest and I didn't remember Sheeta either! And I OWN the movie!

*glomps Haku cause he's cute. Off color hair = anime luv to me*
