Admirable
Kiba-from wolf's rain, I like his determination.
Kenshin-His determination to find another way rather than killing to bring peace (although I did like the OVAs better)
Nabeshin-from Excel, can you not like nabeshin? explosions, he's got a fro and always has a funny song up his sleeve (ok maybe not an admirable person...but he's cool)
Heero Yuy-he's calm and collected and all quite-like

non-admirable
Black mage-he's out for his own good(but still funny)
well that's about all I can think of right now

Kenshin - even after all his tramatic events, he still brigns justice without killing... then again I haven't seen/read the whole series yet to know what happens^^

Naruto - Yeah he's a determined guy.... even if stabbing himself to prove a point can created a large blood loss that could've killed him.

Tsukino Usagi/Princess Serenity/Sailor Moon - no one's mentioned her yet! I mean, she's been closed to death and had all her friends die around her many times, when it was her last stand with the enemy.

Sakura - she's so cute and has a big responsibility with collecting the cards and then having to transform them

Luffy - because the word "admirable" has his name come to mind, but hey, he is!

Hikaru Umi and Fuu - they've got a whole world setting on theier shoulders that they have to protect not once, but twice (voluntarily the second time too)

Non-admirable... yeah any evil character that has the same stupid and borign idea of taking over the world or whatever. *sigh* Don't they ever get it?

Cool

Tohru (Furuba): Being kind and patient with everyone isn't as easy as it sounds. Tough gal. ^_^

Naruto (Naruto): His obsession of being Hokage can get annoying but he's really a sincere and determined guy.

Hina (Penguin Brothers): Smart gal with guts and brains. Who else could have led such a revolution?

Not Cool

Kabuto (Naruto): I hate traitors. They have no sense of loyalty. Bleh.

Muraki (YnMatsuei)/Shira (Blade of Immortal):: I hate ppl who enjoy abusing others. >_<;; Sadistic, masochistic, psychotic whatever you call it..I don't care what your reason is for hurting others so viciously. It’s so NOT Cool.

Admirable
Tohru (Fruits Basket): Eh...everyone already beat me to it.

Kougaiji (Saiyuki): Yes, an ADMIRABLE villain, ssjjvash! He fights for what he believes in, and he looks after his subordinates and strives to save his mother. He's not so much a villain as he is an antagonist. :thumb:

Not Admirable
Muraki (YnM): See Mave's above post. XD

Hm...

Admirable:
Haruno Sakura (Naruto) - even if she's not the strongest ninja around, she remains steadfastly loyal, very honest, and very concerned for her teammates
Quatre R. Winner (Gundam Wing) - for his understanding of the value of life, even in the middle of war
and several others I may think of later...

Not:
Akito (Furuba) - manipulative, cruel, and so on. I disliked him from the start, and Hatori's story especially compounded that feeling
Marco (Shaman King) - bitter, abusive, obsessed with his own twisted "justice"...I can't stand him
and so on...
