What anime song is your favorite?

Ok. You know how every Anime has an opening and ending Theme Song. :eyeroll: Well who could ever tell what the best ones were? Well voice your opinion here!!!!!!!!! :pinned:

Mine would have to be a tie between the opening of Out Law Star and the Cowboy Bebop Ending (the Real Folk Blues)

:angel: All of the Inuyasha Endings rock tooo. Especially Fuki Mori and Dearest!!!

I like the themes to Rurouni Kenshin,Gundam Wing,Trigun, .hack,Cowboy Bebop, and Excel Saga.Ilike most theme actually its mostly ending themes I don't like.

My favorite opening song, and favorite anime song right now:

"Free Bird", opening to Haibane Renmei.

My favorite ending song:

"The Real Folk Blues" from Cowboy Bebop. (though I also like "Ride on Shooting Star" from FLCL).

Is this limited to theme songs? I think my favorite anime song of all time would have to be "Ordinary Girl' from CCS. Don't ask me why, but I've become attached to that.

Mine would have to be the opening song of DNAngel. Expect for some reason I can't remember the name of it now! I'll probably remember it as soon as I hit "reply" >_<
:Edit: Ahh ha ha! I remembered (well actually I just looked at my playlist :sweat: ) it's called True Light.

That song so rocks though, even the piano solo is great. I think my second favorite is Grip from Inuyasha. Although Saiyuki has some great songs, and so does Fullmetal Alchemist, Peacemaker Kurogane, and Get Backers.

another great sailor moon song would have to be their rendistion of the Power of love~it inspires me every time!!!

How about anime songs that get stuck in your head? I used to get "Thesis of the Cruel Angel" from NGE stuck in my head all the time. And "Soramimi Cake" from Azumanga Daioh is a really "get-stuck-in-your-head" kind of song... get stuck in the head and drive you crazy, but it's a fun song.

I still stand by my favorites, though. I think "Free Bird" is a favorite primarily because it is an instrumental. I can't post lyrics to it here because there are none!

Oh dear ... there's too many to choose from! I will say that my #1 fav is ... um ... (why on earth do I find it so hard to actually declare a favorite above all the others? It's not like it really matters ...) Ok, I've decided. It's "Sea of Miracles" from the opening of Record of the Lodoss War - Chronicles of the Heroic Knight.

I obsess over "So Many Memories" (Ranma season 3 theme) and the English remix of "Love Panic!" from the Ranma OAVs. I'm also rather fond of "Kanashimi yo, Konnichiwa" from Maison Ikkoku and "Lum no Ballad" from UY.

There's so many good openings and endings....wow, where to start.
I absolutely love the Shaman King and Yu-Gi-Oh openings (The originals, not the crappy US openings) Haruka Kanata from Naruto is pretty good. The Kenshin opening is too. So is H.T. from Trigun. I like Gundam Wing's Rhythm [sp?] Emotion. Tank! from Cowboy Bebop is pretty good. All the Ranma 1/2 openings I've seen so far were enjoyable (Don't Make me Wild Like You, Zettai!. Chikyu [sp?] Orchestra, Love Panic!, ect) FLCl's Ride On Shooting Star is one of my favorites...the list goes on...

As for endings, there are very few that I actually like, since endings seem to be slow. Probably the 3 that I enjoy most are Rakuen (Yu-Gi-Oh), Wind (Naruto), and the ending to Kenshin (forgot what it was called)..

Well....um....yeah.

The terrifying moldy bread incident! In elementary school, Yomi's leftover bread started rotting inside her desk! you can't imagine what happened! Not only that, but the mold had a will of its own, it was terrible! Barricading ourselves in the science prep room, we used spirit lamps and engaged in combat! Then I realized it!! If we only had the bottle of mildew remover from the bathroom, we could destroy them!!

Well, I've enjoyed listening to quite a few:

Naruto 1st and 2nd opening
Shaman King openings and endings
Hikaru no Go 3rd opening
All of the Inuyasha openings
Rurouni Kenshin 1st opening
Tenchi Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo openings
Yu Yu Hakusho openings
Hunter X Hunter 1st opening
Gundam Wing openings
Gundam Seed openings
Some of the Detective Conan openings and endings
One Piece 1st and 2nd openings and some of the endings

and there are others not listed that I've enjoyed. Keep in mind that I haven't seen much of most of the above anime series. I, however, download a lot of openings and endings off of the internet.

Im not a huge fan of pop, actually i hate it but I do love the song "Simple and Clean" which is in Kingdom Hearts (never played it but i thought it was cool song in the commerical and i recently found the song)

Heart of Sword (Rurouni Kenshin)
Shining Gundam (G Gundam)

I especially like Kiseki No Umi, because the visuals that accompany it are amazing.

There are two songs that I listen to and enjoy. The first is the closing theme from Noir. The second is the ending of Excel Saga. How can you not love a dog singing his (Menchi is a he, right) heart out?

Fukai Mori! Especially watching Fukai Mori! (It's the second ending theme to Inuyasha)

And also, the one that really got me to pay attention to anime songs, White Reflection from Gundam Wing. :thumb:

can't list them all because i might reach til midnight typing, but currently my most uber favorite of the moment is the opening theme of GITS: SAC, Inner Universe, which is sung partly in English and in Russian. it's way too cool to be left alone.
