I'd also like to say a little about the DVDs themselves. They actually managed to make the series affordable by putting them all on 4 discs, instead of milking it for 8 like some companies do. They also have liner notes for the translation, which will help you to understand some of the jokes. If you didn't grow up during or before the 80s it will help explain some of the pop culture refernces from back then. The liner notes are in the scene selection menu for each episode.

I think it was between sixty and eighty dollars on Amazon, which is good compared to the 120 and 200 dollar price tags on shows like Ranma 1/2 and Trigun.
