CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Sometimes I get the feeling that I'm the only one on here that has seen the anime mini-series The Bush Baby, because I've never seen anyone else mention it. This is what got me hooked on the anime drawing style about 10 or 11 years ago, and it's actually quite a charming and exciting story. The unique thing about it is that it isn't based on any manga at all, but rather on a novel written by a British author.

Am I wrong? Has anyone else seen it?

I have no idea whether it's available on DVD or VHS; you may have to do some hard searching. (I just recorded it off TV while it was airing. I'm glad I did because I haven't seen it aired up here for years.) When I did an online search, most of what I came up with were documentaries on bushbabies and some good/bad commentaries on George Bush. (Maybe if I threw "anime" into the search terms it would help...)
