Never seen Jin-Roh but Ive seen Trigun (good series)

In the usual trigun anime, thiers some swear words and some blood (usually comedic). Im not sure what episodes are int he first DVD.

Ok, that didn't help out much. I know it'd have that stuff...

Well, I'm not sure how EXACT you're asking for, but as best I can remember the first volume had a moderate bit of cursing (never the f word grade), and at least 3-4 crass jokes (one in the bar about milk, one in the desert about "pleasure before death", and I believe 2 in the episode where Vash is held hostage). Vash also attempts to look up a girl's skirt, and play peeping Tom once.

As for blood, I don't recall that much--if ANY--this early--the first volume is pretty lighthearted and it takes a darker turn about halfway in the series. Did this help at all, or do you want even more specific?

If there are particularly harsh religious view restrictions, you might want to note that Trigun ep.1 has the line "you don't need God for a miracle" in it twice (not quite an exact quote, going by memory) - hopefully you're not under so severe a law that this would be a problem, but some parents are strict enough that I mention this.
