i've seen oen or two episodes. It seems pretty intresting. I've yet to see the giant robot fighting, but I'll keep watchingn/recording it and I'll eventaully see some mecha demolishing action. :) The series is very smart, though. Not a serious, serious drama, nor a rowdy action anime. The show is closer to the first one, but it's in between the two.

Dude, what episodes did you tape? I highly HIGHLY suggest buying the season 1 boxset. There's SO MUCH Mecha destruction and battles in it!!! You'd love it!

Wow, One and Only, for a minute I thought you were going for the most threads started and locked in a single day record.

I liked Big O and all, especially the way Dorothy kept annoying Roger, but it seemed kind of random. They didn't explain anything - they only asked questions they had no intention of answering. I hope the second season address some of that!

A friend of mine theorized that since the same guys did the Batman animated series, they made a mistake about American cartoons. The Batman series didn't bother to explain who Batman was and what Gotham was all about, so they figured American audiences didn't care about back story or an over story that made sence. Of course, Batman is so well known, we don't need that stuff.

Anyway, I didn't right that stuff to make Big O fans mad 0 I like the series, really. I just thought that was a funnt observation!

This is a good series but there is some problems with it.
In the second series they don't any answer any of the questions from the first but they add more. Than it ends. i haven't seen any new ones lately. but the story is still very interesting.

I've seen both seasons. It's like what H. Kenshin said, instead of answers it only leaves you with more questions. I was especially confused by the last episode of season 2 :stressed: But it's a great series. At first I had no interest in it because it seemed like it was too mysterious and too serious but once I sat down to watch it I was very pleased.

Except maybe for the plot, I like everything about Big O: the fight scenes, the crisp clean animation, but most of all, the characters! Roger (of course :eyeroll: ), Beck, Alan, Norman, Angel (well sort of), Datsun, and Dorothy (my fav besides Roger) are all great. Plus, I like the way the robots (excuse me, "mechas") are designed too.

I think episode 18 was the most hilarious of the two seasons

Oh YES! Episode 18 was SO funny! I've watched it at least 8 times on DVD...
And it still cracks me up.
