CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

I saw this title at Blockbuster, and I was curious if anyone could tell me anything about it?

I've seen it.
It's set in the not too distant future when all cars are run by AI. The story focuses on a group of teenaged drivers who actually driver there own cars instead of letting the computers do it for them. They are employed by the government to run down cars who's AI's have gone rouge and taken off on their own.
The show is set up kind of similar to your typical super-hero group like Power Rangers or Voltron. I remember liking the series, especially some of the extras included on the DVD's. The voice actors competed in some pretty funny races with RC cars and even go-carts.
I'm trying to remember if there was anything objectionable in it... It seems to me there was something, but I can't remember. Which makes me think it wasn't too bad.

There's really nothing objectionable about the show, other than one scene in one of the middle episodes where Soichii (sp? the kid) stumbles into the shower room while a new girl (forget her name, she's an eX-rider, drives a motorcycle--bit of a risque dresser) is in the shower. The new girl is unphased and asks Soichii to hand her some shampoo or soap or something, and I think he passes out and gets a nosebleed. In context, it's not really that bad. It's an ok show if only for the art; the story's so-so.

Whoa, there's a new ex-Driver movie coming out. So, that's why I'm bumping this up. I'm totally in agreement with whats been said. Nothing bad about the show or overly objectionable. It's a very safe title.

I liked this show a lot. Great car scenes. I'm a car lover and when I see driving shows, I tend to watch just to see how they portray the cars. I'll definitely be checking out the movie when it comes out.

Thanks a billion for everone's input guys. I will probably end up renting it and writing a review.

All I know is it's due out October 19 and features our heroes traveling to the good ole U.S. of A.
