I do like the fact that the humans are taking a more active role in the fighting, rather than standing to the side and yelling at their digimon. I really like the fact that the characters are older and the main female character seems pretty strong and mature. I miss the old art style though, it was slightly more distinct.
I still think that Tamers is my number one fave out of all the Digimon series. I can't resist a series in which the main character created his own digimon and Guilmon, Renamon and Impmon were awesome designs. Tamers just seemed to have the right balance between a childlike sense of adventure/discovery with the right amount of danger and seriousness thrown in. But on the other hand, Savers is feeling a bit more mature, which could have advantages.
Heheh, the digivices are now pokeballs. Very handy ^^
I have to agree about Tamers. It also had the most angst of any of the previous series becasue of what happened to Leomon and then the way
Jeri shut off herself from everyone else that led to the D Reaper being able to use her.
Although I also like the original and Frontiers.I suppose Toon Disney and
ABCFamily will get the new version when it comes to America since it appears Disney currently has the rights to the Digimon franchise(?).
I wonder who will be in the dub.
