Get Over

Postby Neosevangel » Sun May 23, 2004 6:06 pm

Neosevangel here! My favorite is GET OVER from Hikaru No Go. Though I don't actually watch it I have both the TV size and full versions burned on CD. Also the Digimon openings from season 1 and 2 are good too. My favorite ending so far is Dearest from Inu-Yasha which I've started to watch. Don't know if the show's going to be one of my favorites though I'm uncomfortable with the whole good demon, bad demon thing. Gundam Seed's ending and opening is good too.

I forgot Rainbow and Endless Future.

I love Endless Future! ^^x

A friend said that Rainbow sounded like the guy was singing while Kenshin was shoving his sakabatou down the singer's throat. *laughs*

for some reason the opening to kenshin is impossible not to listen to

True. I like it but I don't, at the same time, though it has interesting lyrics. The voice though...ick the voice...-.-x
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

What anime song is your favorate?

Postby Kura Ookami » Tue Sep 28, 2004 5:40 am

I've just been listening to music from anime and thinking about which was my favorate. For me Noir has the best music of all anime. I really want to see .hack/sign because yuki Kajiura does the music fr Noir and .hack/sign. I find i can really lose myself in the music of Noir.

As for a single song it's very difficult to choose one because all of the music in Noir is excellent, but i found that the song in the sexond half of episode 21 really affects me. That one is really beutiful and is probably my favorate. Unfortunutly i don't know what the name of the song isDoes anyone know?

So, everyone, what is your favorate anime song?

Yeah, I'd say Noir's up there with the best of them. I also really enjoyed teh sountrack to Last Exile. Last but not least, "Eternal Snow" from Full Moon Wo Sagashite has a special place in my heart.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Well isntead of listing ALL my favorites, I'll list my very recent favs. Anyhow, I've been listening to Elfen Lied's Lilium and Be Your Girl. Lilium is just... wow... the latin sure can emphasize the theme, and Be Your Girl has a tune that reminds me of Avril's Complicated, but is much better of course^^ Also, after watching Witch Hunter Robin on YTV, Shell's been another good song. Too bad the lyrics are quite depressing, but it's not surprising. And then there's still lovely recent Inuyasha music like Angelus (still a gooder!) and Four Seasons... I LOVE that song!

Threads merged. ^^ I really like the music in Princess Nine. I didn't notice many of the symphonic themes until I bought the soundtracks.

The Cowboy Bebop theme has definitely gotta be the best. :) Trigun and Full Metal Panic are pretty cool too though.

I normally steer clear of jazz, but there's something about the Bebop theme that made me like it. "Tank." Is that what it's called?

And Full Metal Panic's intro song was excellent too.

My two favorites have definately got to be "Eternal Snow: Route L version" from Full Moon wo Sagashite, and "True Light" by....someone. It's the tv opening for DNAngel, I know that much. Other than that, it takes a reaaaaally good song for me to appriciate Jpop/Jrock.

I didnt realise there was another thread like the one i started though i guess it was enevitable.

My favorate opening theme is the full metal panic one and the ending theme is also really good. The noir opening and closing themes are also excellent to answer the question that was originally asked about favorate opening or closing theme. It's difficult to think of which one i like best out the two.

Don't sweat the thread merge, it was no big deal. And through the course of the thread it boilded down to favorite songs from an anime, so the topics really were alike in nature.
