And has does anyone besides me think that the man in black (the skinny blonde one) that poisned jimmy looks kinda like the detective from the west side of town that is alway in competition w/ Jimmy ( forgot his name)?
I've said before, but it's amazing the kind of damage FUNi can do to an innocent anime by only changing dialouge and names
on vol. 1 they have, i think 4 episodes on the dvd, if they continue doing the same for the whole series it would be about 41 dvds (if thre are 162 eps) more if there are more episodes than that.

Q: Will the movies be released too?
A: Funimation has acquired the rights to the first two movies Skyscraper and The Fourteenth Target. More details to come.

Q: Why did you change the name to Case Closed?
A: Due to legal considerations.
Q: Why did you change the character names?
A: Working closely with our Japanese partners, the names of the characters were chosen for the North American audience.

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
What's better? Anime with name changes, or no anime at all?? Personally, I don't mind what the characters are called as long as i'm entertained.
