As much as I hate to say it, those cartoons may be a bit more popular than their anime slots. We may have to consider the possibility that AS may NOT bring over any more anime and just rerun what they already have a licence on and their own cartoons. They may be hesitant to buy the license for another anime and not have it be as successful.

Adult Swim can play it one of two ways in my view:

 1. Replay anime that they already own licences and pound in more of their own cartoons
 2. Take a risk and get the licences for new anime, and pray it works

Yeah, there is a lot of murmuring like that over on the ASMB. Most of us are dreading that they might consider, once FMA, NGE, and IY run down, not only not getting any new licenses, but eliminating anime from the schedule all together.

I started watching AS as a comedy fan, and skipped the anime for years. But recently, considering the mediocity of some of their new original comedy (TGTTM and Moral Orel excluded), I've begun to prefer anime on AS. Either way, the action fans are salivating for more goodies, and I think were going to be disappointed.

I don't think EVA is AS biggest cash Cows. EVA is ADV biggest cash cow, but Cowboy Bebop and FMA are two animes on AS that are the most watch. Inu Yasha would be three or so, then again, it maybe more watch then FMA.

Feb 28, will be ep 135. The Last Banquet of Miroku's Master

13 more eps to go. They will stop at ep 148. The Tragic Love Song of Destiny, Part 2. It will air in late May.

Then you have 19 more eps untill the full end of Inu Yasha. The last ep is ep. 167.

i think it will suck if AS does like so many think and decided to not go w/ any new anime and go w/ more of teh comedy stuff of their own. i would hate that seeing as how they are my main source of anime.

I have heard that Trigun will return to AS on March 6th.

If they are going to show more comedy stuff. They are going to have to make more and make them better. Stroker & Hoop has been can.

They would have to get something like The Simpsons to really make watching their comedy line up any worthwhile.Except for Futurama most of the comedies are rather subpar.

I would,as I said before, perfer something like Escaflowne to replace Inuyasha in the long run,but I would also love to see Scrapped Princess and Mars Daybreak.
But it's no way we will get anything like those shows on AS,which is why I will be
buying them on DVD.

S&H has been cancelled? Didn't know that. That's a shame, it's a heck of a lot better than most of the new crop of AS comedies.

This is not good news at all.

CN had its upfront presentation in New York this morning and there was not one word about anime at all. Maybe its me, but I have a feeling that will not see any new anime untill the Summer.

so inuyasha is finally coming to an end in America too.. unfortunately it sort of drizzles out through the last episodes since they don't know what to do and have a huge load of filler eps before shoving at least ten manga chapters into one episode and then ending it abruptly without any real ending.... It was sort of a sad end, but in all truthfullness the show was getting kinda bad. I think they should have just put it on hold until the manga went a little farther instead of bad fillers that lower their ratings in Japan. If they had held out a little longer they would have had some wonderful content to put on the show like:
Sesshoumaru's new use of Tessaiga (he can kill with it! YAAYY!), Inuyasha's new attack, the conflict between Naraku and the Baby/his armor thing (which I forget the name of), the plan Kikyo comes up with to defeat Naraku, Midoriko's intent, Kouga's new weapon and his problems with the shikon shards in his legs, ect ect...
there's alot of stuff that would have made good episodes if they had done them well

any news yet on a sub on AS? I heard a rumor that they might show a sub, but I was kinda dubious.

I honestly almost miss watching new inu eps :/ And too bad, because those do sound like they would amusing eps :/ I don't wanna follow along the loooooong manga either v_v Well, who knows what the future holds. If it took THIS long to come out with an Aa Megami sama TV series that'll go over most of the manga highlights...

I wonder how many North American fans that watch new eps every week will be dissapointed when they see the ending.... my best guess is that they won't even THINK of it as an ending and assume that new eps will be out... if they don't know any better :/

What hopefully will happen is that when it ends Inuyasha fans will start devouring other of Rumiko Takahashi's work like Ranma 1/2 and Maison Ikkoku.

Or Inu Yasha fangirls will burn a city down and write to CN force Japan to make more eps.

From the mass amount of rumors and thier close connections, it seems that GunXSword is pretty much set in stone as well as Eureka 7.

AS has also said they are attempting to get another ADV title and mass speculation has begun about it, the most popular hopefuls being Full Metal Panic! and Noir.

And in the "we want it but have no idea if we're going to get it" category are Mai HiME, Gunslinger Girl, and (of course) Bleach.

I've heard some cool stuff about Bleach so here's hoping.

I want to see Full Metal Panic.I have it on my list of titles to buy one of these days.
Btw:I would also love to see AU get the rights to Nurse Witch Komugi since it's kind of spin off of The Soultaker one of the titles they already own.

so im sure for all of you hwo watched AS last night you noticed this but i figured for all those who didnt i would put up here taht they started SC and Trigun back on mondays after Fullmetal. This makes me wonder what they are going to do after this wed. when SC is over. Are they going to restart it also and have it playing two nights and have it only two episodes behind the other? or maby they will do something else like maby put trigun in that spot. this opens a few possibilities.

I think they're putting it on all week long now since tommorrow is the last episode.
btw:Did you see where they're advertising that they're going to start AS at 10:30
starting Monday the 27th?
Will they be adding more anime or will we be stuck with a two hour block of fecklessly bad sitcoms before we get to the anime?
