I would agree. I'm not sure that it's hentai per se, but I think that it's content is just as objectionable as that found in hentai; in other words, I think there's a lot more violence than sexual content. I've never seen it, but I've heard about it and I've (unfortunately) seen a trailer on a Rurouni Kenshin DVD, which was far too violent for all audiences. I doubt that a review will be approved for that series, unless a mod was willing to do it (much like Ninja Scroll was done by a mod, I think...)

So it's pretty safe to say that it's something that would probably get high values in all of the objectionable content areas, y'know?

Yeah, I wouldn't hold my breath for a review of Kite - either version, actually. I know the one that came to the states on the Action Channel was simply violent with a bit of sexual content, but the original is (I'm pretty sure) considered hentai by most, and if not, close to it.

Yeah there are those titles that are borderline hentai. They have just enough content to keep them from being completely labeled a porno like Ninja Scroll and I think Lady Death for example not sure. And well yeah you guys summed it up.

The difference between the 16+ version (which I have) and the 18+ version is that the sexually explicit material was cut out of the 16+.

I saw the dvds at Suncoast, and though I'm usually not a vampireshow type person... I really wanted to watch this show. I dont know why. (I usually just kind of feel a mild ignorance towards vampire stuff...)

But I would like to see a review so I know whether to try to get it at all or not.

there is an anime called X. I know very little about it, i saw a preview on a lupin the third dvd. I was amazed. Its very very very hard to look up. what kind of name is X anyways? I browsed the topics but didnt see it anywheres. is it ok if i request this? (if it hasnt been requested, im too lazy to look through 18 pages too see if it has =)

I did see the season 2 dvd set for it, but i dont want to spend 40 dollars on a could be cheesy anime.

p.s is there another name for this anime? there might be but if there is i dont know it yet

No, the database is for anime reviews in general. I, as well as others, have written several reviews based on fansubs. When the series is liscenced here, we try our best to tweak the review for any changes that might have carried over.

This isn't a request for any particularly review, but rather a request for all reviews. In the offensive language section, I have noticed some reviews fail to mention that God's name is taken in vain, PLEASE, for reviews in the future, could you please mention if God's name is taken in vain. One time I rented Voices of a Distant Star, and in the review it said that the only language was the b---h word, but the main character took God's name in vain so many times my mom and I stopped watching it. I'm not mad, and i understand how so people aren't as offended by this as others, but I would still like all future reviews to mention whether or not God's name is taken in vain, so I won't have to have another embarrasing situation like I did with Voices of a Distant Star. It would be most appreciated.

No one is going to flame, so no worries about that. And Trigun, listing nudity content in the reviews is a big priority here, so it shouldn't even be an issue.

Heero, as for taking God's name in vain, I'm sure that I don't have to explain that to some people, saying "oh my God" is not considered a bad thing. Yes, it's something that *should* be listed in the reviews and I'm sorry it wasn't mentioned in Voices of a Distant Star. It's not something I'm going to enforce, but I'll*strongly encourage reviewers to listen for it in the future and list it in the language section of their write-ups. I know personally I'm usually focused on taking note of swear words and such, but I'll try to listen for the "***" phrase more.
