It was one of those "Let's make it look there's going to be a sequel, even though there isn't going to be one" endings.

It took me so long to get the reference. "Cain and Abel". XD
It's a show that rips so much from the Bible and I didn't catch that easily.

I laughed at how much this coped Trigun as well but I remember noticing that earlier, CK.

Do the manga and novels follow the same plot?

Can't say. The novels are in Japanese only and the manga is not done yet.

I haven't read the novels and I was very unimpressed with the manga so I didn't read past a few volumes, but I would say there are significant differences between the plot paths of the three versions. The Wikipedia article is probably your best bet for finding more information from those who may have read all three.

It struck me more as the "We need to wrap this up really quickly but there isn't a good way to resolve issues so we'll just leave things open" type. Bad planning, that. All I feel they did right was have other Contra Mundi members involved so that all the characters other than Abel would have something to do.

Otherwise, I must say I was disappointed by the final battle. We spent too much time not seeing it. The lightning effect looks pretty and everything, but some choreography or even Crusnik power usage would have made the fight worth watching. Ah well. Watching the series on tv was free anyway, so I can't complain.

i feel the same way. it wasnt the best ending i have ever seen but it wasnt compleatly bad. they could have shown more on the fight...but its free tv so im not going to complain. the thing i did like tho was how at the end they showed that they werent on earth. i assumed the whole time that they were but they are still on the space thing. i wasnt expecting that but it was really cool. Also what about the earl? why did he go with able? he didnt realy have that much of a motavation other than able's brother was bad. i figured he would have found a way to stay w/ ester

It was worth 24 half-hours of my time.

I find it funny how (including commercials) half of ONE season of 24 is just as long as this entire series. [EDIT: Trinity Blood]

Animes tend to be short though.
I like it when shows have endings, actually
Makes it seem like it was one long movie.

I wouldn't count a second season out just yet. I know there's plenty of reason for there not to be, but the novels are currently being translated with projected release of the First in April, and the second in August. A close friend of the author finished the series based on notes, etc. that were left.

There is ALOT more to the novels btw than what's presented in the anime. That includes characters and a continuing story.

I agree with you. I felt like so much of it up until the last few episodes was filler (in that it didn't really contribute a whole lot to the whole Abel/Cain/Seth plot), that the end was too rushed. This show also could really have used 26 episodes instead of just 24.

And ChristianKitsune, I agree with you as well about it having very much a Trigun feel.
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)

I love the dub of bleach, Normally I dont have to get used to sub versions but in this case, I did. the only voice's I dont like so far are Renji and Byakuya(Byakguya?)
Dont ever doubt God. He can help when thing even are impossible for a Human to work out.God can help us with everything, no matter how long it takes, how much it may seem he's not doing, never doubt God.

I been zoning out on Trinity Blood the last couple weeks so I just hope the same thing doesn't happen with Blood + when it starts.I just wish that they would rerun
TB over again so I could miss the parts I zoned out on,or maybe better buy the DVD one of these days.
As far as Bleach goes it is getting more and more interesting.I think Orihime is now my second favorite character behind Rukia.

Interesting. The new characters, basically (though I can't remember if they've already gotten well into Soul Society or not). I actually heard the English voices of both but was left without any real impression. And it's Byakuya.
