Um, if spoilers are going to be in your posts please post a spoiler alert! I wanted to read this thread but I had to cut it short because my spoiler sense was tingling...I'm really looking forward to the series and don't want to know what happens. If there were really no spoilers (I skipped many posts) let me know and I can go back and read them. Thanks!

Oupss sorry about that, I wasn't abble to put a spoiler button so I just deleted them...

About the last 4 episodes, I've seen in a lot of places that they were to be released in December in Japan I think.... And at the end of Woofnick's fansubs they were saying "watch for episode 27-30 coming soon..." Anyway there's better be other episodes XD

Sorry again for the spoilers

That's OK, Kirika. Thankfully my spoiler sense warned me before any damage was done. But thanks for editing them out, now I can go back and read the thread! Wolf's Rain sounds so awesome--I can't wait until it is officially released in the US!

I had never heard of Wolf's Rain before I saw the thread on it. Seems interesting and i decided i wanted to check it out.
Anyway, at Animeniacs.com they just released the Subbed set. it is episodes 1-26. Pick it up now for 30 dollars. Everyone gives it nice reviews so i am gonna order that. Maybe some of you guys will want to as well, unless you just have to wait for an English dub. :)

About the last 4 episodes, I found some info.
There gonna be release in Japan in December but only on DVD. Episode 26 was the "ending" of the TV serie so that's why it had a different closing theme.

I can't wait to see them!!!! DARN BANDAI, HURRY UP AND RELEASE THE DVDS SOON!!!!!

Wolf's Rain okay, although the plot seems to be lacking a little in depth. nice distinguishable characterization, soundtrack's by Y. Kanno so 'nuff said (Stra-aaay! XD), interesting premise as to the psyche of wolves. animation's so-so, but i love the way the artists detailed the wolves in their beast form (i prefer them in their wolf bodies than in their human guises). Kiba and Toboe do annoy me at times, though. but i really like the grizzled, old wolf-hunter, he's really a character...and Blue!

I'm pretty sure I read an article in AnimeNation's news section a while back that said Wolf's Rain was going to be coming on CN's Adult Swim in April. I'm pretty interested in seeing it. Of course the fact that I love wolves doesn't hurt either. lol ^_^

WR on AS? Awesome!!! Unless it gets cut, dubs are pathetic, they don't show all 30 eps, they change the soundtrack (why, it's in english) :mutter: ... Hmm, maybe I don't want to see it on there... I only need 27, 29 and 30 anyways.

WOW!!! I just finished the final episode of Wolf's Rain. I don't know what to say... The whole series is just... You can't describe how good this series really is. I've seen alot of anime and this beats them all. I'd even be willing to call it the Mononoke of anime series. The series takes a much darker turn in the final episodes, but it's all worth it in the end. I really hope CN airs this one. Complete and unedited. Do not miss this one, but don't let anyone under 16 or so watch it either. This one is definately NOT for kids. And for those of you that cry in your anime, keep some tissues around. If I wasn't such a heartless jerk I would have been bawling. :thumb:

I love that show! It's a little too bloody (okay, so maybe a lot too bloody) for Cartoon Network, but it's really good. I doubt they'd cut anything out, because on last night's episiode...well, it was pretty violent.

Violence and blood is heavy (however there is more blood than actual violence) but it's not done to shock you. There is not any "Oh no please don't kill me nooooooooooo arggh" ( o_O ) or any of that R-rated gratuitous violence, it's mostly wolves and it's all for higher purposes. I'd recommend it for ages 13+, depending on if they are heavily bothered by blood.

Overall it's a great series, very sad at times...bring tissues if you're sensitive (like me). There should be a review on this...I haven't seen enough of it to give a detailed review, though.

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

I like how theres blood on the show, it makes it seem more realistic.
By the way the Ep went last night and how violent it was, I dont think any of it was cut.

I loved the over all feeling of the ending. Showing how much they all cared for each other and how they strived to find paradise. even though some other stuff happened. But I dont like how the ending was left open! There must be more to happen:waah!:

The OVA was the last 4 episodes Adult Swim aired. They took out the recap episodes, though, so it was still 26 eps. on TV.
