Hikaru no Go

Postby Kireihana » Sun Feb 15, 2004 12:52 pm

So, I've really enjoyed the manga so far in Shonen Jump, and my cousin's seen a bit of the Anime and said it was really great. She said Hikaru cursed a lot, which isn't so much of a deal with me, but it still gets a little irritating after a while. I'd like to hear what you more experienced people have to say, and whether this anime is good for someone my age and worth the prices I'll have to pay to get it. >_<

Yeah. I looked it up at THEM Anime reviews and it's rated G, so obviously nothing to worry about there! I think my cousin saw the original Japanese version (with English subs). I'm guessing THEM reviewed the English dubbed version.

There isn't an English dub version. The Hikaru no Go anime has not been licensed by anyone.

The reviewer either watched a fan sub or can understand Japanese.

Oh. Maybe there are more than one subbed versions, then?
