Flame of Recca

The past two days i've been cruising around these forums, and I noticed atleast a couple people saying FoR is really awesome, I bought the first volume, read it, it just didn't strike me as that good, so I'm wondering, does it start getting alot better later on? Or is it just not for me?

Nevermind, i found my answer, one was 13, the other 15, it kinda makes sense they'd like Flame of Recca, and not like some other deeper stuff, thanks anyways though guys.

I've heard much older members that seemed to like it as well. o.O

Also, there's an "Edit" button on the bottom of all of your posts. You should try using that instead of double posting, just so ya know. o.o/

Flame of Recca... I Heard the anime is good, though I never really looked into the manga version. I actually hope to start watching it after I finish the series I'm on now. From what I've seen in the first episode a while back, it reminds me a bit of Yu Yu Hakusho... Which would be a good thing ^_^

Has anyone seen the anime verison of it?

Yes, I have completed the anime and the manga.

I'd say Flame of Recca is just your average series up until Volume 18 and then the series takes off. Sad thing is, the anime wraps itself up where the manga got interesting

[SPOILER] Is sucks that Kai was the villian of the anime, because I found it cool when he became good in the manga [/SPOILER]

The final battle in the series was set up like a final boss in an RPG in the manga.

Anyways, this remains to be the best manga I have completed.
Best 33 volumes of manga ever. MAR cannot compare.

yep. the manga's a very good series. one of the best action/adventure mangas i've ever read. and it's a pretty long series as well.
