My favorite has got to be Mecha. Gundam, Robotech, Gasaraki, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Patlabor. Man can't believe Kkun, Hitokiri, and me are the only mecha guys so far.:P

Fantasy, action, comedy, maybe a little romance. Clamp seems to fill my needs for combining all of those, but sometimes I tend to ignore the genre and enjoy things that are good. :)

I would definitely have to say mecha. But not the dead-serious, no humor what-so-ever military mecha like Gundam Wing or Gasaraki. I really like the old-school giant robot shows like Robotech(Macross saga) and G gundam that are pretty corny but really fun to watch. "Shining Gundam Super Attack Mode!!!!"

All I really care about is a good story, and I'll tolerate just about any level of violence or fanservice to get it, so ... for me, there is no real favorite genre.

Which isn't to say that I don't like plot-less comedies, but they're a mixed bag.

Edit: Now that I read what I posted, it sounds like I'm glorifying violence and fanservice. This isn't the case, it's just that those things don't bother me at all and wouldn't stop me from watching something.
Embraced by a gentle breeze, my heart breaks as I think of you.
All alone at the top of the hill, I watch as the seasons go by.

Well, I like several anime from several genres, so...Let's see. XD

Magical Girl/Romance/Fantasy (FMWS, MKR, Sailor Moon, MGLN, Alice 19th, etc)
Slice Of Life/Drama (Air, Whisper of the Heart, etc)
Action/Adventure (Rurouni Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, etc)
Comedy (Azumanga Daioh, Yotsuba&!)

Since I'm pretty bad at separating things into genres (unless they're obvious, like magical girl), that's all I can think of for now. XD

I'm not a big "Manga/Anime" person, HOWEVER I do LOVE Sci-fi and technology genres, especially if their are christian undertones!

-points to C.S. Lewis's "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe"-

I'm also a big Megaman fan, has to do with the technology and all

things involving ninja's, samaris (more then likely spelled wrong), and the like are also high on my like list

EDIT:

OH and cant forget about the Mid-evil time period!
"But I tell you that anyone that looks at a woman lustfully has already commited adultury with her in his heart"
(Matt. 5:28)

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
(Romans 5:8)

"Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.""
(John 14:6)

God proved His love on the Cross. When Christ hung, and bled, and died, it was God saying to the world, "I love you."
