I took a picture of it, but i deleted it earlier. So I can't find it

If you start thinking with collectivist values, than you can talk, though emulation is ok (best exercised in groups that tolerate eccentricism). Japan has it's upsides and downsides much like any culture, but the more you learn of it, the more you will find that sometimes you'll prefer a more American attitude torwards a subject, while sometimes you will think that Japan is onto something on other subjects. J-pop's cool, but there's a lot more music out there that's worth listening to, even if you still keep it Japan themed (i.e. excellent traditional music on the koto or zen flute, cyberpunk influenced stuff like The Future Sound of London's My Kingdom single (mini-symphony is more like it)). Don't use chopsticks on dishes that don't suit it (buffalo wings? etc.). Mix the best of both worlds. Whatever you do, be true to yourself authentically.Shikyo_ko wrote:Wow. I think i am becoming Japanese. Even my mom is noticing it. I spend all my time listining to j-pop, singing along in crouds so no one knows what i am saying, staring at my self in the mirror in my mother's Kimono, while eating with chop sticks for almost every meal. Not to mention i have been eating sushi and ramen for like every day of my life. All sinse a few years ago when i started watching anime and reading manga. I am such a loser. ^.^
