Shinzo

Has anyone seen Shinzo? It was dubbed a few years ago for ABC family and now it's playing on Jetix (digital cable channel). It's a fun, clean show with a decent plot and a good adventure feel to it.

Oh yeah, I'd like to hear about the content, if possible.
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share

And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence.

It's definitely on the low end of anime budgets. XD There are so many still and nearly still frames in that show! But I like it anyway. It's your normal 'beat up the bad guys while trying to save the world' anime, but the characters are very enjoyable. The heroine, Yakumo, is particularly appealing because she is very loving, kind, and brave; not the usual loud and aggresive heroine. The only thing I can think of that could be bad off the top of my head is a scene were Yakumo gets ambushed while bathing in a river, but I don't think anything is shown, seeing as it's ABC family.

Does it have a ton of magical stuff in it? Just wondering.

Mmmm... Not really. They have unusual abilities but they don't call it magic. In the second season, Yakumo spends alot of time in prayer and the powers are spiritual in nature.

Thanks... maybe I'll check it out sometime!

It comes on right after Beyblade (which I've been recording lately instead of watching). But I wasn't interested in it at first. I thought it looked kinda gross.'

If it has your recommendation, though, it could be something I'd like. :)

this show was ok....It wasn't the best..but It is better than FLCL (not a big of fan of FLCL....^-^;; sorry to those that are)

It is a cute show...with lotsa plot twists..but the dub is kinda annoying (haven't seen the sub..but yah...)

THE KITTIES were CUTE!

The dub wasn't that good at all... but it was a decent escapist show if nothing else was on. I like it mostly for the nostalgia-- it's always fun to revisit shows like Shinzo, Digimon, and Zoids ^_^.
