Wolf's Rain Content Questions ^_^

Hey all,

I've been looking into Wolf's Rain for awhile now, and I just heard it was licensed by Bandai a few weeks ago (yay)! ^_^ I've read the previous thread regarding this series, but no one really mentioned any content issues in the series. ^_^

The artwork is positively amazing and I'm very impressed. ^__^ The wolves are beautiful (especially Kiba!) and the dreary atmosphere is right up my alley. ^_^ Also, I've heard a few of Maaya and Yoko Kanno's beautiful score for the series, and the lyrics just inspire me to no end.

Based on the evidence, this is looking to be the type of anime that will live on my favorites list. ^__^ However, a few of the images seemed to have some pretty graphic violence, and I'm also concerned about the nudity issue after seeing an image of the Flower Daughter (Pretty sure it was her). ^^ (Of course, I make a differentiation between tasteful and pornographic nudity, and I also tolerate violence as long as there's sufficient reason for it and it's not overdone.)

Can anyone give me some insight into the content of the series? ^__^ It looks great, but I want to make sure it's in my comfort zone first. ^_^ Many thanks!!! ^___^

There's some blood and violence.. but it's not overdone.

The Flower Girl "Cheza".. No, there's absolutely no nudity shown of her.

There are some scenes with minor female characters which I can't remember.. but it doesn't ruin the story at all.

I recommend this anime.. it's beyond beautiful.

Except the 26 episodes there's also 4 OVA's.. these have yet to come out.

I fell in love with it since the first episode and I'm now waiting for the last four

There's violence but nothing extreme. I don't remember seeing any nudity in it. Maybe there's one episode with a prostitute (about 1 minute and a half ) and you don't see anything and nothing happens cuz the guy leaves quickly.

Well, i gave it a try and it looks nice. the subbed version that i have is absolutely horrible. You would think they would get someone who actually knew English to translate it. I am sure the copy that is released Stateside will be better, but for now, well i almost couldn't even watch it i was so irritated.
violent (at times, yep), Great art (the parts i saw between reading and trying to comprehend.) i love the opening. Looks pretty Good.

Wow this is pretty old but yeah this is pretty clean actually...There is some deaths nothing graphic or anything...Well Kiba does kill somebody by biting them in the throat and that's the worst thing. There is a tiny bit of fanservice nothing too bad but yeah. this is only from the first 9 episodes that I've seen though. It is really cool though.

Its really an ok content wise. Most likely in your comfort zone(Based off what i gathered of you off you post) A little violence, Nothing sexually explicit, and not too much swearing... I give the Anime an overall A+
