Being the most violent thing I've seen, it's also the deepest aniem I've encountered. With ever episode you watch, you gain more and more knowledge about the show. I really don't see any follies with the show, except I really don't care for those random acts on fan service they have to add in -_-' And the "incest" that plays on there (that I was too slow to realized until now). Well, it's no more incest than Cardcaptor Sakura, in a sense. I'm not really complaining about the nudity either. Even if it is a little more detailed, the art in the op/end is nice. Yeah ADV has it licensed, but the DVD isn't even availble in Japan yet, so the wait is on!

I've seen up to ep 10 and wow, I can't wait until the next ep. This is a rare anime in which the ending comes almost immediatly and the eps don't take forever to get over. It's just... wow.

No, it's not one for people who haven't seen much violent anime. It's worse than Akira, even. Smiliar kind of violence, but happens more frequently. Freaks me out every time someone's head gets blown off, even when I expect it. I will warn you of ep 7 or 8 though, as it has off screen animal violence. Even if it is an anime, the feelign is just too real sometimes! Episode 5 also deals with a bit of implied sexual abuse. No hentai though, luckily.

This is an anime if your into VERY serious and deep plots. The story gets better with every episode... but it's almost too gruesome for me to ever buy :/ Surprising how the opening song is quite Biblical. But yeah if you can get over the violence that would match Beserk (never seen the series, but I do know it's bloody), can tollerate some useless fan service, all just to see the plot and seriousness of it all... it IS worth it. First episode enough is a shocker^^ Can't get through that, you probably won't make it through the series.

I found a few manga scans and they are quite similar to the anime. Unlike the anime though, they are unlicensed.

For those who don't know much on the show, I suggest looking up for the official site. It has pics for ever ep aired, and trailers for all the ep previews, and even the op/ending videos (which are very nice). Won't post the link because it has nudity and violence, and the site itself has fan servicey pics too -_-; just so the mods won't be after me.
