Okay, pass by the lameness of the title and tell me your most memorable moment from manga or anime. (Dumbest, first, best, coolest, most emotional...whatever...)

*ponders* Yes, yes I'd have to say Osaka's dream from Azumanga Daioh. That or when Chiyo-chan removes her pigtails - but that's just another of Osaka's fantasies, isn't it? (see signature)

Hm...in Kenshin, when...
Kenshin was fighting Shishio, but he, Sano, and Saitou had fallen in battle, and only Aoshi was left. Shishio was laughing at Aoshi when all of the sudden, he looked up, and saw an unconcious Kenshin struggling to stand. Houji looked and said, "It's okay Lord Shishio! He is still unconcious!" Then the color came back into Kenshin's eyes and Houji fell back scared. Kenshin got mad and started to yell, and it revived Sano and Saitoh, but the wind that was blowing all the leaves around was so powerful it was knocking Houji and Yumi back. Heh, Kenshin started kicking butt after that.
Also, in the first episode of Kenshin, when...
He walked in on Gohei Hiruma and stopped him from killing Kaoru. The memorable part was the speach he gave:
Gohei: Oh, another one who believes that swords are to protect people with?
Kenshin: ...no. A sword is a weapon. The art of swordsmanship is learning how to kill. That is the truth. What Miss Kaoru says is sweet and innocent talk that only those whose hands have never been stained with the blood of men can believe. But to tell you the truth, I much prefer Miss Kaoru's sweet and innocent talk over the truth, indeed I do!
"Wings of Honneamise", the final, very non-anime-ish scene. Very artistic.

"Cannon Town" (from Otomo's "Memories") when the little boy stops looking up to his father.

"Now and Then, Here and There". Almost everything really, but especially the scene in the cave.

"Whisper of the Heart". The 'Concrete Road' scene, also the scene when the girl sings the real 'Country Road' song.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

Bits and pieces from Escaflowne: The Movie. There's so many parallels between that and my own life it's really hard for me to watch sometimes.

From the Mythical Detective Loki:
Despite what people say about how stupid the scene is, I immensely enjoyed the fight between Heimdall and Loki, especially towards the end where Heimdall falls from the bridge and knocks away Loki's hand when he tries to pull him up. Made me emotional and kept everyone in character. ^_^
From Saiyuki:
Goku's decision to take off his power limiter and fight Kougaiji to save Sanzo! Yay for Goku!
The whole 3 episodes that included part of the Saiyuki Gaiden series. Wewt!

From Dragon Knights:
When Nohiro finds his way into Kharl's castle and gets attacked by Garfakcy.
I am hoping you didn't just mean positive ways:
After she beats up some dudes she says, "A battle does not begin after one has finished flapping his lips. .. It begins after you have prepared yourself for the worst."

When I first came to the realization that her old friend was truly dead. They show the dead body missing its head and part of the shoulders.

Hikaru, Fuu, and Umi's introductions and how they all included their blood types.

When the glass ball broke when the fortuneteller tried to see Rath's future.

The first spell Deshwitat casts, Demon Baptism. It just looked so cool

When Sorata and Arashi show up on the first world. That was when I realized how many crossovers were in this series.
The above are all series I own, and the following I have either read, borrowed or are from Shonen Jump.
Haku's death, that was so saddening, but the other guys redemption more than compensated for that.

The part when he snapped because someone damaged the hat.

Umm can't describe too well as it was in Japanese, but the main chara has this deadly series look in his eyes and then attacks the enemy

That first shower scene. . .

That stupid streaking scene at the beginning.

the reset switch. . . uck . . . but also chi in her work uniform, that was cute.
Yeah I read toooo much manga. . . but I am leaving out about half the series. . . . .
The ending scene with Sakura and Li reunited after they got older. KAWAIII!!!

The summoning spell that no demon lord would be stupid enough to be caught in, but the demon lord is caught in... hehe

Sorata telling Arashi that she is the "one", the one he will love and die for.
All of those are very memorable to me. Some are good memorable others are memorable in the sense that I can't get them out of my memory.

Lacus Clyne and Athrun Zala are their names.

Lacus Clyne is soooooooooo cute!!!
I also like the mystery blonde in the ending sequence. her name is a mouthful, Cagalli Yula Athha.

I also found the ending sequence in the last ep to be especially moving, but I would rather see Kira with Lacus than Athron. . . umm not a fangirl... fanboy. . fanboy. . .

Oh. . . I am getting off topic. Another scene I really like is in the manga of Demon Diary when they point out that this one character is actually a girl. I hope that isn't a spoiler. . . .

(Slight Spoiler)
My favourite part is in Rurouni Kenshin Volume 2 is when
after the battle with Zanza (Sanosuke I think?) Kenshin is still holding his "death glare" face, saying that his face is stuck. So Kuaro (sp?) and Yahiko pulls his face. That made my laugh out loud.
Then there's the part in "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Winds" Volume 2, when Nausicaa is "walking on the grass of gold" (without spoiling anything).

Yeah just use:

[SPO@ILER=Insert title here] words here. [/SPO@ILER]

But don't forget to remove the "@". I also suggest you use the testing forum to make sure you've got it right, or preview your message to make sure they are working. :)

Oh and I haven't read all of Fushigi Yugi but it looks pretty cool! Names escape me so your memorable part is lost on me.... :hits_self

Parts from the manga that hit it home:

From Naruto: Gaara's story.
1) During their training after graduating from the Ninja Academy, Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke realized the importance of sacrificing their own interests for the sake of other team members (or the mission) when lectured by Kakashi. 2) Hinata's perseverence in her battle against Neji when Naruto cheered her on. 3) When the news was revealed that Lee had a high possibility of discontinuing life as a ninja. 4) When the third hokage died.
Touching parts from Anime:

From the Prince of Tennis: The story of Fudomine's (sp?) past.
When Ryoma continued to persevere in his match against a player from Fudomine when his broken racket made a bloody gash above his right eye. He was only given 10 mins. to win the set or forfeit, but he insisted on playing anyway. And he won with less than 20 seconds left.

When Sai disappeared.
^Yes, totally!

In Anime:

From Fruits Basket, the episode where Tohru visits the main house for the first time is SO sad!! It made me cry!

The 23rd episode of Trigun...*tears*

From Princess Mononoke:
when Ashitaka's demon possessed arm shoots a guy's head off with an arrow!
From Vision of Escaflowne:
the first time Van reveals his wings

when Folken reveals his black wings and explains that he is dying

when Folken fights Emperor Dornkirk and dies, just as in Hitomi's vision

when Dilandau turns into Celena
In manga:

Pretty much any scene in the 1-3 volumes of Fruits Basket! It's ALL SO hilarious! But ones that stuck out to me were Kyo's suggested Death Battle for onigiri at the school festival...Yuki wearing a dress...Momiji 'attacking' Tohru...Hatsuharu's bicycle...Shigure's White Day present for Tohru...

From Mars: when Rei kisses the statue of Mars in front of Kira
when Rei reveals that he had an identical twin brother (Sei) who committed suicide two years earlier...and all the flashbacks Rei has about it...
Between the idea
And the reality
Between the motion
And the act
Falls the Shadow

For Thine is the Kingdom

Between the conception
And the creation
Between the emotion
And the response
Falls the Shadow

Life is very long

Between the desire
And the spasm
Between the potency
And the existence
Between the essence
And the descent
Falls the Shadow

For Thine is the Kingdom

For Thine is
Life is
For Thine is the

This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
