This is a world where spaceships rule the skies, but Victorian era cars and fashion rule the ground-- I was expecting a duel with old-fashioned swords, and then these two giant autobots come out -- I just thought it was a great touch.

Wow, you sounds awfully disappointed. :P But you actually don't understand why the cold-blooded killer wanted to finish the last blow with his own hands? Well if you're a mech lover, I guess you'd do it all with the robot-- but Gankutsuou is a hating manipulative villain, of course he gets more satisfaction out of a "personal" touch. Final blows must be emotionally epic.

Hey Shadowfax you know what is really cool these days?

Not double posting.

Not double posting is really cool. You just edit your post and add new stuff under it. It's pretty crazy.

Don't worry about Fish...EVERYTHING bugs him. :poke::P

Back on topic, I was rewatching Death Note this afternoon before work, and I saw something that I didn't see before which qualifies as a "what the heck moment":

There was a scene when "L" is telling the task force guys about his aliases, and he's eating strawberry shortcake. He then picks up the strawberry and tells the guy behind him, "I'll give you this strawberry if you promise not to tell anyone, okay?" He then gives the guy the strawberry who then puts it in his pocket...umm...okay...

I had a lot of moments in the Conqueror of Shamballa, the Full Metal Alchemist movie. >< Annoying. The whole movie. Seriously? I couldn't find the point of it. >< But I'd never liked the anime much, anyway........

And that is one Crowning Moment of Deadly afterwards.
Because she whipped out a gun and killed many Japanese people like ants, earning her the nick "The Massacre Princess".
When people tell you to "get a life", what do they really mean by "life"?

I'm assuming that was your face during The Animation Show, too, if you've seen what you're avatar's from. XDD I love that thing, though. XD

In a good way:
The whole first episode of Trigun. I wasn't really expecting it to be particularly funny (I knew nothing about the anime at the time), so when Vash starts acting goofy, I just cracked up. When I got to the end of that episode, I was just like, "Did that actually happen, or did I suffer a severe blow to the head?" :dizzy:

The whole of Episode 37 of FMA. Awesomely "what the heck" all the way through

In a bad way:
The part of one scene in Last Exile where
Sophia kisses Claus.
I was all, "Nonononono! What the heck just happened?!"
You can find out things about the past that you never knew. And from what you've learned, you may see some things differently in the present. You're the one that changes. Not the past.

That whole movie was a "what the heck" moment. Especially when Dr. Shima starts talking crazy and goes out the window.
