There are very few series that I wish I hadn't seen that otherwise would be fairly clean, and this is one of them. I'm not even going into the content, because aside from a lot of panty shots (these are schoolgirls in uniforms fighting here.... but it's not gratuitious like Ikkitousen) there's very little objectionable.
It's just got a really stupid plot though. I mean, it's like watching a 200 episode series from episode 70 and watch it until episode 96. It starts like it was the middle of something, and ends with you thinking there are at least 26 more episodes and it just finished a story arc.
Now the manga is great, because it makes sense and it sticks with one concept. And I liked a lot about the anime... like the entire high school bit. It's got a lot of humor to it (which is the series strong point, aside from one of the most amazing animated fight scenes ever in the first two episodes) but once it started going into the Demon Lord of Yenen junk the humor stops. From there, the series quickly goes downhill and you wish it would just go back to the high school. I give it a 6 out of 10 because I like the high school scenes and I love the characters (especially Kiribayashi-senpai XD).
Just buy the manga and don't waste your time with the anime. Age rating.... um..... oh, 15+ sounds fair for most people.

Lil bro Zilch can be the best man, it'll be an explosive ceremony. Everyone is invited! We'll serve poutine at the reception, Straylight can DJ, and Shatterheart can start a mosh pit!
