An obvious one:Fly Me To The Moon for Neon Genesis Evangelion,I know it's used as the end theme but would make an interesting song for an NGE AMV as well.

Since I was about 13, I've always wanted to make a video for Final Fantasy VII with the song "I Wanna Hear You Sad," by The Early November. A portion of the lyrics to the chorus are, "For all of this, I'm better off without you." Tifa fan that I am, I thought those lyrics would fit Cloud and Aeris rather well. XD I did find a video on AMVs.org that used the same criteria, but it wasn't exactly how I had envisioned it. If I ever figure out how to make AMVs (more like if I ever have time to figure out how to make AMVs), that would definitely be on my to-do list. XD

I also want to make a tribute to Shigure from Furuba with "Of all the Gin Joints..." by Fall Out Boy.

In that vein, a Naruto AMV, with Panic!'s "The Only Difference between Martyrdom and Suicide is Press Coverage."

EDIT: I recently re-discovered an old CD of mine, and "High Five" by Calibretto13 is begging to be made into a Gokou vs. Vegeta video.

I always get idea's for amv's when ever I listen to music period. There is one I really do want to make though and that would be "Out of My Mind" by James Blunt to clips of Lucy's escape in the first episode of Elfen Lied.

Hmm... Maybe 18 bulletholes (waterdeep) for monster... I'd just have to find a dead priest in it... I'm sure there is one in there somewhere

I just came up with a new AMV idea while doing the dishes tonight.

Song: It's Gonna Be Me by N-Sync. Anime: Naruto. It would be a Naruto/Sakura, Chouji/Ino, and Kiba/Hinata focused pairing video.

Im not so great at AMV making, tried it, and failed hooorrrriiibbllly.
I'd love to see a one to the song The World at Large~Modest Mouse though
or The Light Before we Land~The Delgados...which I loved long before they put on that anime Gunslinger Girl [and didn't even use the best part of the song! ToT!]

The Meuse struck me the other day while I was listing to Phil Keaggy's renditions of "Your Love Broke Through" ( the song was written be Keith Green). I don't know what anime I'd put it to, probably Full Moon. It would make a cool amv though.
