Members of CAA, UNITE! You have nothing to lose but your gender anonymity!
(In other words... Could we please reinstate the gender symbols?)

It looks like even though the genders don't appear in posts, they can still be seen in that user's profile if they opted to let it be shown. I guess that's our workaround for the time being (until someone posts a better idea).

The symbols that we had before. Look below your avatar and user title. There can be the category "Gender" in yellow text and have the gender in the white text there fore adding to the list that there already exists and could be clutter, but this is an alternate idea.
I am the Blue Falcon!
Erm, sorry about that!!!!!

Aw, well, I wouldn't let that get out.
Yeah! Why can't I select 'blue' for my gender?

So much talking... so little discussion.
I'd love to help you (as I think the symbols are helpful to have), though mine has always been blank anyway. But that would be straylight's area, so I can't, really.

Yes, yes, it had to be said. If he hadn't said it, someone would have had to say it for him.

I'll admit, it can be helpful at times (and this is something I admit only because I've left my own blank). It, along with the age category, is a helpful addition.

it's nice to know what gender and age the individual I'm replying to sometimes in a thread....Y'know, the "know your audience before you speak" practice..........so it's great to have the gender back!
