The "Post Warning Button"

Postby Mr_Anderson » Tue Apr 19, 2005 7:30 pm

i'm kinda afraid to use it. i mean, like there was a post in the general (fixed thanks to old phil) but i don't know when i should use the button. I dont want to bother that admins/mods with a false alert. i dunno when 2 use it.:?:

Do you mean the "report" button? If so, please use it whenever you think we should take a good look at a post. If we decide the post is OK, you've done no harm.

Thanks!

I'll add that I don't find it annoying either; at best it brings to our attention a critical problem, at worst we just ignore it. If someone started using it to excess, we would simply tell them and, provided they stopped, it wouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for bringing that up & explaining. I sometimes worried about getting people ticked off if I used it and the mod/admin didn't agree it was a problem
