:lol: Wow, I wasn't excepting this, but...wow? xD; That was the awesomest ever! I could feel the specialness oozing out of my speakers! =O

And...x3 I'm not going to mention who Shatterheart's voice made me think of, or else I might get hurt. O.O Or worse. BANNED. (j/k, I don't think it was really that blasphemous a thought. =P)

O.O; drats, I've been caught! =O Actually, to be honest the first thought that registered in my head was "Bill Clinton", even though you really don't sound like the guy at all. xD;

Wow. Great card guys, that just totally made my day. It was even better than the "Christmahanukwanzaka" jingle. It makes me want to make a cool card from the members to the staff, but we couldn't possibly make a christmas card in time. Perhaps a card for Groundhog Day?

It's funny how no one ever has the voice that you imagined them with. Cool nonetheless guys, and Merry Christmas to all of you.

I very much wished to be a part of this card, but a lack of proper technology prevented me. Next year the situation might be better, but perhaps not. I certainly wanted to, and, as shooraijin put it, I don't love you any less for it.

[quote="shooraijin"]Based on an idea from Gypsy, we decided to release a Christmas card from the staff to the members ... but it's audio. We couldn't get everyone on it, but even the ones who aren't on it love ya just the same. :)

Now, a serious note: this file is 2.6MB, and too large for CAA itself to host, so we're mirroring it across several sites. Please respect the bandwidth of those who are hosting it by *downloading it* rather than trying to play it over the network (it's zipped to force you to do so), and if you have CAA friends on IM, feel free to pass it around from person to person so they don't have to download. If anyone wants to mirror it, please PM me with the URL and your geographical location. Thanks, done lecturing now ^^

Pick your closest host (please note that these locations are where the servers are, not necessarily where the people are :sweat: ):

http://www.floodgap.com/card.zip -- shooraijin, So. California, USA
http://www.hoodiegypsy.com/audio/card.zip -- Gypsy, Chicago, Illinois, USA
http://www.myrrhlynn.net/stuff/card.zip -- MyrrhLynn, Orlando, Florida, USA
http://www.the-difference.net/stuff/card.zip -- glitch1501, Karlsruhe, Germany

Have a very blessed Christmas, and a wonderful new 2005!

Some technical notes: this was done in GarageBand on the Mac. Not all of us had access to a nice microphone (in my case, I didn't have access to a place with good acoustics), so the audio quality varies, but we still hope you'll find it a blessing. The music is courtesy Gypsy]

Why not make a torrent out of it?

WOW! This is awesome! It's great to hear you guys talk for once!

What a great Christmas present! ^^

Oh, you guys all sounds like totally what I thought you would sound, and you Shatterheart you sounded like TOTALLY what I thought, it was sick. ^^

Your voice is cute though.. ^__^;;

I love the music in the background, it makes it so happy!

Thanks so much for putting this together! *Hugs mods/admins*

That audio Christmas card was really great. Thanks to the CAA staff for making it possible! A Merry Christmas to you all.

Truly amazing, friends. Best of wishes to ye all for this season, and possibly the next.
Take it like you gave it; what else matters in the end? To be honest, it's all a one-shot test; that leaves plenty of places to go wrong, but how will you ever know? There's a pointer, I will admit. Turn it on, listen to it, feel it burn.

He says "What the-" followed by "Who is this?" then roughly "Hey! Ah!" immediately followed by the hiss that the title character makes in the movie "Predator".

Singing? I wouldn't mind that, but it wouldn't be as personal, would it?
