Wierd error in the forums

Postby Shinsei » Thu Apr 29, 2004 12:08 pm

yeah, this is probably just me, but every time I load a thread (not any other page, just threads) I get an error that says "A Runtime Error has occured. Do you wish to Debug? Line: 17 Error: 'threadedmode' is undefined" followed by a yes button and a no button It also lacks a little check box that says dont show this error again, as most IE errors do, so that plus the debug thing makes me think this is from another program on my comp. However, I don't, as far as I'm aware, have any SDE's on my comp, so I wonder what it wants to debug with. It's very annoying, so any help in making it go away would be nice. Thanks all.

Those can be switched off by doing this in IE:

Click Tools>Internet Options
Go to the advanced tab

Under browsing, make sure that

"disable script debugging" is checked
and "display a notification about every script error" is unchecked.

No no, my IE gets a runtime error on that too.

The error originally mentioned in this thread has actually happened to me too, though only on the oldest computer I get on, which has an ancient IE. I had figured it was just the computer's fault...
