What books did you get for Christmas?

Postby oro! » Wed Dec 29, 2004 11:12 am

Calling all avid readers! I know you must've asked for some books for Christmas. So what did you get? Did you expect it?

I got the first big ol' book of the O'Malley series, though I wanted about say five other books from other series. :waah!: I'll live. That's what the library is for
"I've learned when you throw mud at others, not only do you get your hands dirty, but you also lose a lot of ground." Ravi Zacharias
"Pride grows in the human heart like lard on a pig." Aleksander Solzhenitzen (so call me on it)
"Zeal without knowledge can lead to chaos." - Bob Rohm
"Why don't we love his truth as much as we seem to love his love?"- Cross Movement, in their song "Check us Out"

2) The Valley of Vision - a book of Puritan Prayers
3) Competent to Counsel by Jay E. Adams
4) The Vintage Guide to Classical Music by Jan Swafford
5) Reaching Out without Dumbing Down: A Theology of Worship for This Urgent Time by Marva J. Dawn

I also got two cookbooks, which are books, but I doubt count...

So much to read!

I got 3 books. A horse book, and the other 2 were books from my favorite author, Alton Gansky.
