Which poem for a writing contest should I choose?

Postby Jaltus-bot » Wed Mar 28, 2007 11:21 pm

I want to enter a poem in a contest at school to see what happens. Here are the three I am deciding between. You have 11 hours from this post for your vote to make any difference.

One Night Long Ago in July

There was beauty and simplicity
Magic filled that night so long ago
The stars began to shine
Bright fireworks filled the sky
We laughed and ran
Happy and free
Out on that grass
How we were filled with the innocence of youth
It tasted so sweet beneath the summer sky
Sometimes I wish that I could go back
Back under that perfect July sky

She danced upon the stars

All alone
She danced the night away
She danced upon the stars
And held the moon in her hand

Futures unknown
And dreams just now began
She just went on forever
Her life began out there

She danced
Continually on
To a song that was her own
She made its melody

In her room
She was so enchanted
Beauty of the heavens
She dreamt the night away
When I feel blue, I start breathing again.

It's cosplay, get used to it.

I liked 'She danced among the Stars' better.
