Book reviews

I'm having a little issue finding book reviews from a creditable source. The novel, The House of the Spirits, was published in 1985 and any search I've tried hasn't turned up anything useful.
Does anyone have some advice on where to find a full-length review that I could use as part of an English project?
"So David said to Michal, "It was before the LORD, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the LORD. And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor."

2 Samuel 6: 21&22

"I am going to take this bucket of water and pour it on the flames of hell, and then I am going to use this torch to burn down the gates of paradise so that people will not love God for want of heaven or fear of hell, but because He is God."

A first guess would be to check backissues of newspapers that reviewed it. Perhaps New York Times near the top of the list. Likely will require a trip to the library unless you subscribe to one of the newspapers you want to use. (university library preferred if available, depending on how far back your local library will go). Or if you look at the author's web site she cites choice reviews here. You could try to track down the full text of one of those.
