Making a bar graph (Excel)

I have to report data on a graph for my lab report. How do I make a bar graph? For instance, I have three samples, each with its own concentration. I imagine the X axis will have "sample 1, sample 2, sample 3" and the Y axis will be the amount.
Thoughts? Help?
This thing is due on Thursday afternoon.

Title a column "Samples". Title the column beside it "Concentration" (mg/dl), or whatever units you are using.
Now, right below "Samples", type in that cell "Sample 1". In the cell below it, "Sample 2". And so on.
Now, in the column "Concentration", beside Sample 1, type in the concentration, 0.31 or what have you.
Repeat for each sample.
Now, select the area (including the "Sample" and "Concentration" title columns).
Select, from the main toolbar, the Chart Wizard.
Select, from the Chart Wizard, Column Graph (or Bar Graph, if you want to go horizontal rather than vertical).
Push the "Press and Hold to View Sample" bar to get an idea what your basic chart looks like. Modify the parameters as necessary to get the chart to look the way you want.

Like what ClosetOtaku said,
1) highlight your numerical data and variables. (see attachment)
2) click on where the black arrow points to. Or you could use Insert>Chart.
3) the rest should be straightforward such as x and y labels and graph titles

Prof says data for this report won't need a graph of any kind *smacks head*
But I will need help for a x vs. y graph, so stick around...
