Scorpio stood off to the side with the rest of his House. He recognized Cassius from his years before- and attempted to stay away from him. That boy was bad news all around. Scorpio did not envy his father for having to deal with him.

ooC: It's ok. You never read the books or saw the movie. Don't worry, McGonnagal is the nicest character in the whole series.
Everyone entered the main hall to begin the welcome feast.
As everyone sat down, a man with a long, flowing beard stood up. This was Aberforth Dumbledore, brother to Albus Dumbledore.
"Well, I see some new faces. Will all new students form a line to be sorted please?" he said.
"Good luck." Rose whispered as she walked over to the Gryffindor section.
"What were you doing sitting with him?" James asked, thumbing at Scorpius.
"Just...trying to be nice. He's not as bad as he seems." Rose shrugged.
"I don't know. He's a pretty aggressive Quidditch player, that's for sure." James said.

Kyrie smiled hopefully at Rose and quickly joined the other new students. Her heels where tapping on the floor in her excitement.

Scorpio nodded at Kyrie at went over to the Slytherin's table. He sat well away from Cassius, but not too close to the Head Table. He could see his father up there, glancing over the students.

Cassius sat with a group of other Slytherins at the end of the table, farthest away from the teachers. This year he would begin his plans to become the most powerful wizard ever. He only hoped he could convince others to follow him. He had already been succesful with four slytherins, but most other people avoided him, even Slytherins. He grinned. They were afraid of him. And he would use that fear to control them. He ate in silence, ocassionally casting a glance at the head of Slytherin. Draco Malfoy once worked for Voldemort. Cassius wondered if he would be a problem, or if he could help him gain more power as a wizard.

Scorpio saw his dad at the head table with the new DADA teacher. He then looked at Kyrie, wondering which house she'd get.

Draco noticed Cassio's look. Foolish kid, he thought as he waited for the hat to Sort the student.

McGonagall put the hat on Kyrie's head.
"This one's a tough one." said the hat. "I see some wits, so I'll put you in Ravenclaw, quick!"
OOC: Go sit down at a table with people dressed in the Ravenclaw colors. I'll create someone for you to talk to later.

Kyrie got up, and went quickly to the table with the people dressed in Ravenclaw colors. She sat down, an whispered to the nearest person, "I'm so glad I'm in Ravenclaw!." The person just ignored her.

OOC: SOrry I ignored this, creativity section of my brain was on the fritz. Anyway, here's a new character for you.
Kevin, the prefect of Ravenclaw, offered a hand for Kyrie to shake. He had brown hair and eyes and a pleasant expression on his face. He wore a sapphire necklace.
"The name's Kevin Collins. Just stick with me and you'll do all right."
OOC: A proctor is like the student body president. (I think that's what the oldest Weasley was. Correct me if I'm wrong, Atria?) Oh, and could you notice his necklace? I just thought of a story behind it.

Kyrie shook the boy's hand. "I'm Kyrie." she said. Then she looked at his necklace. "That's a beautiful necklace! Where'd you get it?" she asked.

Prefect. Proctor is close, but I believe that the brother was a prefect. Sorry about not joining in right now- I'll pop in when dinner is over!
