Unico came back in, towels slung over her arms. He snapped at Affinity.

"It wasn't easy finding the bloody towels! You try finding anything after Anser's turn to do laundry..."

He handed them to her, then knelt beside Talison. He wrapped his arms around the little girl and pulled her close, but not close enough that they where touching. After all, his shirt was still damp from bringing Siobhan in. He spoke to the little Fox Anichi softly, his tone full of hope and sincerity, though it truthfully lacked both.

"Tali, chin up. They will be fine. You are doing an outstanding job of helping."

He rubbed his cheek with the back of his hand. So much had happened in such a short time. He gingerly looked over at the human girl. As much as he hated to, he knew he was in the wrong earlier. He cleared his throat and spoke to her.

"..I am sorry for how I treated you earlier. I was far from showing Christian compassion, and I am deeply ashamed of it."

He bit down into his tongue, uncertain whether he truly meant it, or if he just said so because he knew he should. Oh, well. He would find out later.

" Honestly when I showedup here I didn't expect more or less... just not so strongly spoken I can see you care and that's what's important pained and hurting people need somone to care and I can tell you do... my name is Adrianna would you like to start by knowing that I forgive you and I do have a question..." She put her hand on his back and gingerly rubbed a circular motion to comfort him too. " You're so protective and strong do you ever have a chance to be yourself and break down and cry..." She allowed him to pause ad ponder the question for a while

IC: Affinity grinned showing off her fox teeth, "Well, that sounds interesting." she started to rub down Kisho with the towel, "Now we just need the fresh clothes from Jericho." Affinity dried Sio off better too and then sat down next to the two with one knee high and the other on the ground, she had one of her arms resting on the knee that was raised.

Affinity watched the scenes in front of her and felt her stomach twist 'Ugh, I think I will be sick...' she thought annoyed. But none of her emotions showed on her face. "So what exactly happened to make them bloody and wet?" she asked, not betraying the fact that she already knew, but Affinity knew it would seem less suspicious if she asked the cause.

Talison looked at her and said "mama had a bad spell of bad memories i think..."

IC: Affinity turned to Jericho, "it's okay don't worry." she patted his shoulder. "Unico I need you and Jericho to leave while I dress Sio." She smirked at the idea of trying to fit Kisho into Sio's clothes. "Well at least Kisho has a slim build.."

Jericho left without a second thought. He went for his favorite place on the roof. "I should of tryed harder to help. Why am I all ways in the way?"

Kianna noticed Jericho go to the roof. That man...she remembered him yelling, "And who are you?!" Who am I?

She sighed within. Why was it so hard for her to make friends? Why was it so hard to open up. The scars from the past.

"Confidence can borderline into cockiness." She gripped her dagger, "It is not to me to decide if you wish to talk to me, ignore me. That is your choice. I merely asked why." She made sure to hide her fear. She was not afraid that he would harm her, she knew what she was capable of. No she feared being casted away, although she knew it quite possible. Afterall, since that time...No now was not the time to dwell on it.

She gripped her dagger. Anger? That was surprising. What was she so angry about. She never could understand her emotions. It is why she chose so often to say nothing. Let them make the first move. counterstrike. Run. Hide. That was her life. Become invisible.

She glanced down at the person below. No at the Anichi below. "And then again, I say we can not trust Humans. What makes Anichi, as you call them, so different?" She heard the bitterness slip into her voice. She jumped down off the tree, landing next to him and looked at the orphanage.

How about some chow?"

Roscoe stopped chewing on the piece of straw, thinking on her question.

Kianna said nothing to his spiel of trust. "I do not trust anyone. Anichi or human. It is how i have survived. It is how i will continue to survive." She felt her stomach rumbling.

She looked towards the orphanage, "I....I can not go to that place." She let her guard slip, slightly. What was she doing? It could mean death.

"I will catch my food here." She pulled the dagger from her pocket and laid the bo staff down. She saw a small rabbit dart from the forest. Exactly what she had been waiting for.

She chased after it, though small she felt the speed within her erupt as hunger feuled her. She jumped towards the creature who quickly darted a different direction. She growled, "I don't think so." She grabbed a small knife from her pocket and taking careful aim tossed it towards the creature. With a small yelp the creature stopped and fell.

She ran up to it, smiling. She would eat today. She was careful to clean the creature out of view of Roscoe for respect and save the meat. wrapping it in leather and placing it in her pocket.

She placed the dagger back in the holster after cleaning it on the grass.

She smiled up at Roscoe, "See. I'm good at hunting!" She blushed then. She had smiled. THAT was new for her.

She blushed again, hiding her face, "I'm going to build a fire. I can sense the wildebeest within you. Do you eat meat?" She grabbed some wood, and brought it to the clearing near the forest where she had eaten for the last three days.

Unico nodded and left the room. He was relieved Affinity made them leave before he was forced to answer Adrianna's awkward question. He slowly made his way up the stairs. Talison said " I am going to visit Uncle Uni wanna come adrianna?" She nodded and turned to Affinity " I will be back i am gonna check on Unico he seemed upset..." She turned and followed Unico and knocked on his bedroom door and asked "Can I come In... I am worried about you and so is your little friend Talison here..."She sighed and said " I am sorry for being so bossy I get that way when I worried I don't even know you but I do care..."She sighed again and turned away when she heard some movement in his room

Unico's eyes slowly looked over at the door. Without getting up,(or any other movement for that matter) he focused his attention on the ceiling again and called to them.

"Come in." He waited until they had entered, then sighed.

"You should be concerned about Siobhan and Kisho, not me. I'm glad of this reprieve, it serves as a balance for much needed serenity." As he played with his hair, he mumbled aloud. "Serenity... it seems so distant now."

Unico remained silent for a time. After a while he leaned upwards, gripping the banister that surrounded his bed. He calmly spoke to Adrianna.

"Well, we all have our faults. Some more then others... Some appear to have none. But, that is just a facade. A veil they hide behind.."

He looked down at Talison, stroking her hair.

"-take Siobhan, for example. She, to me, appeared flawless. It was foolish of me. She is still just a human like us, she has her own inner demons to vanquish."

He sighed, pinching the skin between his eyes in an annoyed manner.

"-I just pray this will not scar her reputation.. Adrianna is your title, yes? Then, Adrianna, how fairs Kisho? Any idea what caused his illness?"

"I've never been any help to anyone.", Jericho ponders his role in life. "Why am I here?!", screaming to the heavens expecting an answer.

"Do find it amusing that they almost died? Is there joy for you to see us suffer? Why? Why?" He sits there crying, letting his sadness and anger out.

"We are useless creatures. And I am the most useless of them."

OOC: A 10 year old angery, and trying to find his place in the world, sad but it does get my creative juicies flowing. Understand, he was abandoned at a young age and has allways thought his life useless, though he tryed to think positive he allways messed up and has since only taken care himself, but still wishs to help at least one person that he care about. Hope this doesn't go against your plans Erin. Oh, and sorry for the rant.

" Yes, my name is Adrianna...I believe that you need to take a deep breath... Unico?? is that your name... I was around Siobhan when it happened she lost control for a moment of her Anichi form and injured Kisho... yea h my name is Adrianna and I was worried about you because you seemed stressed I may not be Anichi but I do have other gifts... especially sensitivity to people's emotions... I can feel their pain or oany other emotion they have...I was mistaken and dirven out of my paren'ts home because they thought I was anichi bcause of it..."Talison snuggled up in Unico's arms as Adrianna continued " As for Siobhan she does have her demons as we all do... somemore real to us than others... but I am sure if we help her, She will see her way through and you have to cling to that hope or this whole situation will hurt you more than you realize..."

Affinity watched them go and sighed she looked down at Siobhan and Kisho, "Right time to change you two." Affinity changed Sio easily and let her sleep wrapping her in a warm blanket and putting a pillow under her head. Then she changed Kisho and also snuggled him into a blanket and put a pillow under his head. She poked the fire making it spark and burn brighter.

'Well, this was a lot easier than I thought...' Affinity felt a smirk twist onto her lips, 'I'm glad that I got this chance...'

Unico's eyes lingered on Adrianna as she spoke. They became bored, and moved over to Talison. As he spoke, his words were like honey mixed with venom: They sounded sweet, yet truthfully reeked of poison.

"How interesting... the next time I require a sob story from I human I'll let you know. Until then, keep your emotions and options to yourself, capire? I care little for others, with the exception of Talison. I could care less about the world, my concern is with me." Unico smiled, and swept his hair back with a gesture of the hand. He cocked his head and hissed.

"So, naturally, I seem arrogant. Snakes, after all, cannot be trusted." He stood up, and motioned at the door.

"Now, there's the way out. I'm sure one of the many people here would love to assist you in finding a vacant room. I have something I must attend to."

Kianna looked over to the boy on the roof. She could see his tears. (ooc; they weren't far from the orphanage , maybe a couple hundred feet).

IC: She looked at the boy, her heart softening a bit. "Hey." she said loudly, no emotion in her voice, "Maybe you could come for some rabbit. At least then you aren't stuck on the roof. Unless of course you want to be." She spoke quietly and firmly, focusing on the wood in front of her.

IC: Affinity had leaned herself against the wall in her sitting position, her eyes were shut but she could hear every conversation going on in the house, she listened more intently to Unico's and Adrianna's, then she listened to Jericho and Kianna's conversation. It was then she realized that Anser had stopped talking to anyone.

Affinity glanced at the sleeping figures and then stood up, she walked slowly out of the room and stood in the hallway near Anser and Maritz, she noticed neither had said anything for a long time. She stepped into the doorway and leaned there watching them silently.

"I do." He replied "Eat meat, that is. Although I'm not so sure I've ever had rabbit. They're a bit too cute and innocent for my taste." He flashed her a crooked grin and set the pieces of wood down with the rest she had gathered.
He frowned when Kianna asked Jericho to join them, and be declined so rudely. But he couldn't judge Jericho too much for that, for he was practically the King of rude behavior. Most of the time anyway. Sometimes he would behave and actually have a reasonable attitude.
"Don't worry about him too much. He's kind of like me. Grumpy and anti-social."

'Onee-cha~an! What are you doing?'
The pale, slightly-decayed face of Ashtyn looked back up at her as the shunk-shunk of the shovel digging into the sand and the giggling of her sister echoed in her ears.

'Onee-cha~an! This sand is cold! Why are you burying me in the sand?'
Shunk-shunk, the shovel still sounded.

'Onee-cha~an! Heheheh, do you like killing me?'
Shunk-shu--the shovel stopped as the dead eyes blinked twice, staring into Siobhan's own cerulean orbs.

"I didn't kill you!! Mr. Burnois did! I can't go against Mr. Burnois' words! I'm sorry!!!"

During this nightmare, the only outside notification was the slight groaning from her throat, and the freezing sweat from her brow.[/font]

She took a flint and knife out of her pocket. Within seconds sparks ignited the wood. She smiled with satisfaction.

"I do not know what anti-social is but I can not blame him for wanting him to be alone." She poked the fire, urging to become a blaze. Staring into the flames. She grabbed sticks, slightly damp from the water they had been sitting in from the previous night and laid it across the the blaze. She took the meat and placed it evenly across.

"Can you control it?" she asked a bit in discomfort, "Ya know....the transformation?" she spoke the word, almost like a curse. "I have only done it a few times." She remembered those times but forced herself not to dwell on it. It wasn't the time.

Roscoe lowered himself down, balancing himself on his feet and resting his forarms on his thighs. He stared into the flames for a moment, then looked up at Kianna through his eyelashes.
"I can, but I've had a few more years practice than you." He answered, the flames glinting in his eyes, making them look as if they were smoldering. "What about you?" He questioned in his usual casual, lazy tone.

Unico watched the girl in subtly amazement. How can humans talk so long without breathe? He sighed, walking closer to her. He leaned down to her neck, whispering in her ear.

"-You're blocking the entry. I need to get out."
Unico stood back up to his full height. He realized that not acknowledging what she said would be annoying, tiresome, but that's how he worked. He enjoyed to have people completely in his grasp, to do with as he pleased. This, of course, was hardly a Christian attitude, but Unico always managed to convince himself otherwise. He slipped his freezing hand underneath her hair, stroking her neck.

"Why will you only accept my help? I'm not sure whether to feel flattered or alarmed. I've treated you so harshly on purpose. Is it pity you feel for the Anichi? ...You realize that the Monks will have no objection to you staying here. They're an odd lot, to forgiving and trusting for my taste."

He let his hand fall out, and proceeded to caress his own hair. He tilted his head and smiled amusingly at her.

"Well, most precious guest, since I, apparently, have been summoned as your keeper, name what you wish of me."

Unico watched the girl in subtly amazement. How can humans talk so long without breathe? He sighed, walking closer to her. He leaned down to her neck, whispering in her ear.

"-You're blocking the entry. I need to get out."
Unico stood back up to his full height. He realized that not acknowledging what she said would be annoying, tiresome, but that's how he worked. He enjoyed to have people completely in his grasp, to do with as he pleased. This, of course, was hardly a Christian attitude, but Unico always managed to convince himself otherwise. He slipped his freezing hand underneath her hair, stroking her neck.

"Why will you only accept my help? I'm not sure whether to feel flattered or alarmed. I've treated you so harshly on purpose. Is it pity you feel for the Anichi? ...You realize that the Monks will have no objection to you staying here. They're an odd lot, to forgiving and trusting for my taste."

He let his hand fall out, and proceeded to caress his own hair. He tilted his head and smiled amusingly at her.

"Well, most precious guest, since I, apparently, have been summoned as your keeper, name what you wish of me."

" If you think i am afraid of you I am not... you're all fluff... what I do need though is you to be a comfort to talison and not only that I need you to help me find a room and I don't have any clothes... could I maybe borrow a shirt since my pants are still fairly clean... Also could you help me find my dog midnight..."

She noticed that Affinity wasn't looking, and stood up shakily, testing out her non-existant balance.
Pulling herself upstairs, she saw Adrianna standing in the doorway of Unico's bedroom.
She limped over to the human, and placed her hand on her shoulder.

"Adri...were you e-ever called...Ashtyn...?"
Siobhan's knees buckled under her own weight, and she fell in front of Adrianna and Unico.
