CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here...yeah... Uh, I guess if you're interested in knowing a little bit more about me...I'm a 17 year old, Roman Catholic girl. There are two main things in my life that are exceedingly important in my life and that would be music and anime.

For music, I can listen to most things, but my primary favourite genres would be emo, ska and a little punk. Some of my favourite bands include Carlibretto (Harley Poe), Bayside, Something Corporate, Saves the Day, Relient K and Rufio...although that's barely the tip of the iceberg. Moving on though...

Anime...some of my favourite series include, Naruto, Fruits Basket, Rurouni Kenshin, Chrno Crusade and Angelic Layer. I love action/adventure/fantasy stuff, but I'm a total sucker for shoujo.

In my free time I play the piano (have been for about 10 years...) and I'm trying to teach myself the guitar... I also draw http://misuteri.deviantart.com/ <---DA account if any of you are interested at looking at my art...

Um...I also write...but being that school is eating up my life...I've not had too much time there...but if you're really curious to see some of my writing...(which I kind of doubt since you all don't know me...) You can catch me on fanfiction.net and fictionpress.net under Hikage Ninja. Yeah I try to keep my accounts easy to remember...I happen to have a horrible memory.

Right...so that's a little bit about me...although probably more than any of you really wanted to know...so yeah. Ja ne.

I've read the first couple of volumes of the manga. I would like to finish reading the manga...but I've been swamped with school reading lately. I should have a little more time now though.

And yes...Angelic Layer IS awesome...it was so cute...and adorable. Probably the next series I'll start buying after I'm finished buying all the DVD's for Furuba, so that I can finally have it in a nice shiny box with pretty pictures.

Awww...I'm not that good...but thank you for your kind compliment. I do plan on entering the May Art Contest if schoolwork and insomnia stop eating up my life and gives me some time to draw. ^_^

Yeah, Angelic Layer is a very cute series! I own all the DVD's so far as well as all the manga and I can't wait for volume 7 (DVD) to come out! I also own all but one volume of Fruits Basket--another great series! Both FB and AL are in my Top Ten all-time Favorite Anime Series. And if you like CLAMP, or even just AL, feel free to visit the CLAMP/Sakura Fan Club thread over in the anime forum. And I welcome you to join the club too!

Yeah, I love CLAMP too...they have such a beautiful art style to them. Yeah I've seen all of AL and all of FB before...but I still don't have the money to buy the whole series of all of them...-.-' Yeah I'm a poor kid with no money. LOL. Yeah...I might check out that thread...it's just that there are so many pages to it...it's kind of overwhelming. Hehe.
