CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

I've been a lurker here for quite a bit of time, just reading and not posting, but I'm compelled now to come out and post (and introduce myself).

I've been a Christian for quite a few years now. My parents immigrated into the United States and soon gave birth to me; we soon experienced the grace of God and became Christians.

I first discovered this site while doing some research after reading some particularly disturbing opinions on anime (on some very closed-minded web site). Since then, I have been a regular visitor (although I have little time, I try and stop in and see what is going on pretty often).

I really like the anime style of art and Japanese culture in general, although I'm probably the least qualified person to say so. (Heh..heh...heh..) I draw spacecraft and machines half-competently, but I need to work on human anatomy. I'm no good at that, unfortunately.

Academically, I do pretty well. I have no idea if anyone would be interested (I don't see why without any credentials ), but if anyone wants artwork or any other favor, feel free to ask.

The people here are much more friendly than those I've seen at other message boards. I look forwards to my stay here. Thanks all.

I am from Delaware. I do play video and computer games, and have played (in no particular order) Starcraft/Brood War, Descent, Descent 3, Descent Freespace, SSBM (for gamecube), Homeworld, Pokemon Colosseum....uh, I can't think of any more right now, I've kind of lost count.

My real last name is Zheng, and my first initial is A. Now you know where my username comes from :-P.
