CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Hello I'm Drewxawn

I was born and raised on a farm and with an amazing christian family. Sadly despite the awesomeness God blessed me with I kind of got caught up in a sinful life style, this and the fact that I was kind of the black sheep in my family due to my like of video games slowly caused me to start hating myself. Thankfully God was working in my life and finally opened my eyes to his love, and roughly a year ago I accepted Jesus as my savior. I still struggle massively with my sin, but I have gotten to the point where most of the time I no longer hate myself, and in fact this has led me to my newly found love of anime and growing relationship with God.

The first anime that started my love was Puella Magi Madoka Magica, where Sayaka's story touched me due to stuff that happened in my life. My favorite animes are PM3 and Angel Beats and I'm currently watching Attack on Titan and K-On!. Also I prefer dubs though I will watch Japanese, like recently I just finished Black Bullet. My church is a small church, however with no one my age and I've gone to a few conventions hoping to meet new people who love anime like me, but so far I've had no luck. I'm hoping that'll I'll meet some folks here whom enjoy anime, video games, and God as much as I do.

Oh, one more thing, I'm also a huge vocaloid fan

@drill Yeah I've been enjoying K-On! a lot I started watching it when I discovered Madoka's english voice actress voiced Asuza in the dub.
My favorite K-On! character? hmm either Rika (I think that's how you spell her name if not sorry) or Asuza (again not sure if I got that right).

Favorite Vocaloid would be either Miku herself or Rin and favorite song is the first one I heard Romeo and Cinderella. I am quite aware that the song is really dirty, but since it's in Japanese I only really here the beat and it's got a lot of nostalgia for me I guess since it was my first song I heard. I also really like Heart, Vegetable Juice, World is Mine and many others, lol.

Also I want to add that I really like your signature picture it looks cool.

Thanks very much, and no worries, the something witty things never seem to come when you need them, though the stale cookie is appreciated... kind of concerned about how it lasted long enough to become stale though.

Oh that's definitely Kanade Tachibana (Angel) from the very beginning I was like she's an interesting character and then the ending, well after that there was no way I could change my mind.
