I've been away for a while

Hey Guys,
I've been away for a while (actually, a couple years). I decided to stop on by and see what's been going on. For people who don't know me: My name is Jim. I live in the Chicago area with my wife. I love writing, reading (biographies, British fantasy lit., theology, philosophy, fiction, adventure), movies (same categories as reading). I've been addicted to Monk, Sherlock, and IT Crowd (only six year late on this one) on TV lately. I've been to Japan once, and El Salvador a couple times.
A lot has happened since I last came here:
1) I started a Master's degree program in Teaching English Language (TESOL) and Intercultural Studies at Wheaton Graduate College in Illinois. I'm planning on teaching in the USA for now and then taking some overseas summer teaching trips this year or next year. I've been having a great time in my program, although it has been super busy.
2) I got married in April. Here's a pic from the wedding:
My wife's name is Aneesa and moved to the USA from Trinidad. She's a makeup artist/actress. We had a small wedding with just family since we have so many obligations right now, but still had fun.
Looking forward to lurking around here again Any more questions?
