Good evening one and all!
My name's Chris, a.k.a "Hedgie" around the 'net. A name given to me affectionately from one of my artist friends. I've known about CAA for a while, but thought I'd finally post.
It's been interesting for me to try and find friends from BOTH sides; it's hard to find Christian friends who like anime, and it's hard to find anime lovers who are actually Christian. At least locally. So, hopefully I'll get along with some different people here.
I'm a proud Canadian, been here all my life. I totally love my city and a lot of the events that go on around here. I'm currently a freelancer - I tend to just do P/T small jobs here and there whenever I can find them. There's a long story behind why this is, but if you want to know more, you can just have a chat with me.
My favourite animes at the moment are: Lucky Star, Azumanga Daioh, .Hack//sign, The Cat Returns, Whisper of the Heart, and Rumbling Hearts (Along with Sonic X!). I also read Kitchen Princess.
If there's anything else you wish to ask, please go ahead! I look forward to learning more about everyone I can! ^_^ Take care and God bless!

They are like those Maynard sour patch kids, but not as flat, or sour, actually they are quite fat and sweet
Aside from that, WELCOME
Oh, you live in the Great White Canadia too?!?!

Hola (Hello)
Welcome to CAA.
For how long have you been getting to know CAA before you decided to join?
Are you really a chef?
What do you do as free lancer? I could not figure out what is P/T.
I like your signature/slogan.
Nice to meet you!

Furen, indeed. Take off to the Great White North, eh?
Alma:
I visited CAA about a year ago or so, when someone told me I could actually find someone to chat with on here that wasn't totally jerky. XD
I am really a chef, trained from both high school and some college courses - the only thing is, I'm now a stay-at-home chef, since my health has made it impossible for me to do really heavy work. P/T is short for part-time. Part-time work is the only kind I can do now. A freelancer is someone who just does any short time job without signing onto anything.
Thanks for the welcome! ^_^ Take care!

Welcome! I love Kitchen Princess & Azumanga too! I started watching Rumbling Hearts once, but I was waaay to young for it at the time. O_o
Have you ever seen Clannad, by chance?
-What do you bake/coook?
-bacon or sausage?
-if you were to be compared to an Azumanga character, who would you be?
-if a tiger and a bear got in fight, who would win?
I'm an American, but I know a load of Canadians :3.

Thanks you two for the welcomes! And yes indeed, I have started to watch Clannad, but only the first three episodes so far...
-What do you bake/coook?
I cook almost anything. I'm not as much into the baking things such as desserts/cookies/cakes, etc - I am a lot more into the full blown kitchen with appliances and such. But to answer your question further, I do tend to love seafood, and anything where you can combine a lot of flavors!
-bacon or sausage?
This really depends on the quality of meat. I've had some really good sausages in my day, but in some dishes it's the smokiness of the bacon that produces a large amount of flavour. :3
-if you were to be compared to an Azumanga character, who would you be?
Hmm... that's a slight toughie to narrow down. I've noticed a couple of traits from different gals on there that I found in myself. But if I HAD to choose, I'd say Miss Sakaki. I tend to be a little more on the quieter side, I adore cats, I'm quite content just being my own self not caring too much what people think about me, but still wishing that I was a tad more popular. ^^;
-if a tiger and a bear got in fight, who would win?
The bear. Unless it's after Labour Day, in which case the tiger might be the winner.

@.@ I think Clannad was alright, but if you want my opinion, Kanon had a better character interaction dynamic.
