Hey, everyone! I'm new here. I've stopped by the forums occasionally in the past, then a friend of mine mentioned what a nice community it was and I joined. I am an avid Christian anime fan who loves learning, studying, and writing.

Talk to you all later!

Arigatou-gozaimasu for such a warm welcome! ^_^ You guys rock my socks!

I'm currently waiting for a good book, actually. Based on what I've heard from my colleagues and teachers, The daVinci Code is supposed to be very interesting, so I can't wait to read it.
I have many favorite anime series, so many I sometimes forget ^^;. My favorites so far include Rurouni Kenshin, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Tenchi Muyo!, Tenchi Universe, FLCL, Big O, and Miyazaki's Spirited Away. I'd like to see others, though. Any suggestions?

YOU'RE A KENSHIN--TENCHI FAN TOO?! AWESOME!!

>ahem< Sorry about that.

Welcome! I highly recommend Dai-guard. It's a great show, and very clean (some language and innuendo, but nothing too bad)

Ooo, Big O. It's on my list to see. :thumb:

Have you tried Fruits Basket? Always worth a look! Check out Gypsy's review of it.

I'm also a long-standing Ranmaniac -- see the Ranma OAV and TV reviews, too. (alert: shameless plug ;) )

The Da Vinci Code is the next book on my must-read list. ^_^ I've heard lots of great and controversial things about it.

Well, hi and welcome! :jump: Oh, and in the way of anime I think Fruits Basket is a definite must-see and anything Miyazaki. I also like Slayers - one of my favs.

I recently borrowed The Da Vinci Code from the library, and from what I've read so far, I must say it is a very, very good book — a definate must-read for (European) history buffs or for those who want to know the secret behind Mona Lisa's smile and other factoids. Filled with suspence, this book definately won't let me go. I find myself unable to take my eyes off the pages.

There's also another Dan Brown novel called Angels & Demons, and, from what my history teacher tells me, is even better than The Da Vinci Code.
