Yah I'm new here! My artist name is actually TheBurningDonut I am using White because I fealt it was more "apropreate". and here's some of my stuff posted on Deviant Art:
http://slycercar.deviantart.com/ There are some dirty things there so if you're easily offended PLEASE don't look!
I'm sighning up 'cause I feel I am gettin some funny messages from God about my art and such and was interested in talking to christian artists!
I am what is often refered to as a "Furry artist" wich is something that might scare some of ya'll!
I kinda need help sortin' out faith and my views on what I want my art to be like and how it al can fit together.
Another thing I would like to ask...is there anyone here over 20?

There are quite a few members here over the age of 20. *nodnod*
Um, well, if your art has some offensive material, I'll keep away from it. ^__^;;; Meanwhile, though, I think that if you know your art has some "dirty things" in it, and you want to be strengthening your relationship with God, that should be something you alter first. That's just my quick thought on it, though. ^__^;;;;
Soo.... Welcome! ^O^

Hey that's why I put the warning there! I don't believe in censorship but I also don't believe you should force people to look at stuff they might find offencive!
The "Dirty stuff" is part of the message I think I'm getting! Not to get rid of it but make it dirty" in a different way...if that makes any sence...
Also the look seems to be one of the issiues I've allways wanted a Joe Maduria type look but rescently my stuff has ben taking a more Osamu Tezuka type look!
I often think that maybe what ever message I'm supposed to potray isn't supposed to weighed down by worrying about if I get the sixpac and deltoids just right!
I don't know if ANY of that makes any sence or not!

*is incredibly lost* o__o Aigoo.. I think this is for an artist to answer.. I used to draw when I was younger, but not anymore. XD They were landscapes, so I never had to worry about giving off an inappropriate vibe.

Welcome, White! It's good to have another artist here -go furries! I'm pretty sensitive to dirty sort of stuff, so I think I'll bypass the link; however... yay! A furry artist!
Hope I see you around the boards. I'm an artist, and I like furries, however I don't draw them very often since I'm still learning proper human anatomy -and that applies to furries. ^_^ I mostly just stick to drawing animals and other animal-like creatures. Furry toasters, perhaps.
Anyway, welcome! *hands out a muffin*

On that very subject, I mean not to be judgmental but to point out a very important point. I believe that in all things Christians should live for the glory of God. "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31) And if you are doing something that is not pleasing to God then how are you glorifying him with your work. I find nothing wrong with drawing cat-people and such as that. My favorite manga is InuYasha, which has a hero who is a dog-man. But I am aware of this business of the “Furryâ€
