hey there just another newbie at this site. what i want to know is how to play a forum rpg. if you could help me out that would be greatly appreciated:?: .

Welcome!

The forum RPGs are pretty simple. All you have to do is find one that is starting up (or an established one that is accepting new players), and create a character. After that, just post in the RPG thread as necessary.

Do you play video games? If so, what are your favorites?

So, welcome! Man, I wish I had a cookie-cutter greeting like 90% of the people I see on welcome threads...then I wouldn't be stuck for what to say so often! But alas, to me a cookie-cutter greeting just isn't very personal...

Sorry I guess that was a lot of questions at once. :sweat:

If you want to join an RPG, just head over to 'out of character' in the RPG area, and read about some of the RPG's that people are playing or starting up. Most people post general rules and an idea of what their RPG is about. Pick one (or more) you like, talk to the person who is running it for more info (if you want), and if its what you are looking for, join up, and have fun.

If you have other questions, dont hesitate to ask,

Just about everyone is really nice here, so I cant imagine you wouldnt enjoy atleast part of the RPG you choose. ^_^
