... introduce myself here.

Hi! I'm antefurem! :thumb:

I love Latin... as you can see by my name. I'm an avid (perhaps too avid) writer, and an obsessive doodler/drawer/whatever.

Wanna know more about me? Ask and I'll speak freely!

Welcome, anteferum! Nice ta meetcha!

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.

Ashley's a Latin fan too, so you should get along nicely. ^_^ What kinds of things do you write/play/draw?

The answers to your questions...

"Ante furem" means "before the thief". It's subtle Christian Latin... haha.

Stuff I like to write: I want to become a serious writer - so I love experimenting with words. Poetry, short stories, even attempts at novels and dramas are things I write. I critique stuff, too...

I draw animé style characters of mine. And SD style of already made animé characters.

As a reflection of my love of drawing, I'm in a constant search for animé shows drawn well that doesn't have excessive violence, a bad representation of religion, etc. I don't watch too much animé... I like drawing it. However, if I hear something is not only good, but drawn well, I'll take a look at it.

What do I play? RPGs and arcade games (that definitely includes DDR!)!

Hope that answers questions.

Oro! Welcome! ^^x
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

[Pink Floyd fan listening to Queen and hugging trees which is also known as taking care of God's creation with a pair of headphones on listening to Nightwish as loud as possible while writing a novel on a computer in the middle of a field filled with Wolves.]

Thanks. ^__^

I'm definitely a realistic fiction writer. I've been told my writing's weird, thought-provoking, animé/manga-ish, and has a subtle Biblical message.

With poems... well, I'm up for experimentation.

Hi and welcome, antefurem! I always say, Sola Fide! Is that Latin? ^__^

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

I suppose I will. ^__^

"Sola Fide" looks muchly like Latin. Heh heh.

I would translate it as "by faith alone". If that's not what you mean... It's probably some nice romance language such as Italian.
