What voices can you impersonate?

Postby Danderson » Sun Oct 14, 2012 7:22 pm

I really love doing voice impersonations...

In the past, I've been able to do Jar Jar Binks and most of Frank Oz's muppets (Yoda, Fozzie Bear, and Mrs. Piggy)...

But, my ultimate favorite is Gollum...

What can you guys do?

I think i can do Smeagle/Gollum pretty well myself will half to do a side by side of one of his conversations at some point. I've been told i can do lumpy space princcess pretty well and i think i can do meatwad from aquateen hungerforce (again so I've been told) II think i can do a pretty good deep mans voice as my own voice is deep (when i try and sing at song practice with the church the other bass tells me i'm singing an octive to low) and haveoing good flexibility and control along with a bit of "endurence" i can hold my voice in a posityion long enough to do a set of lines. I like to try and immitate the angels from Diablo 3 or deathwing and other deep resounding voices from world of warcraft. I do have to say a long time ago i once forgot both what my face looked like and was shocked when i looked in the mirror and which voice was mine and all day long i swtiched voices mid conversation all throughout the conversation, I did wake up cured of my perdicament and wasn't and still am not sure why i forgot what i looked like. I often find that when listening to a group of people talk I'll move my voicebox tongue and chin/teeth to a position to make a sound or voice like the person talking and switch "voices" while they talk without moving my mouth. If i did half a past life or something i was probably a voice actor :P

I can do a decent Arnold Schwarzenegger, a pretty good James Bond (the Sean Connery version, of course), and I also have a pretty good "villain" voice according to my second cousin Bryce (he told me never do an evil laugh again:lol:

I do a very good Stitch from Lilo and Stitch, and can sing just like Alvin and the Chipmunks. I can also do any line spoken with an English accent.

I'm really good with Star Wars characters. And I mean REALLY good. I can do a LOT of characters. Here's all the ones I can think of. (From the movies, not the show.)

Nute Gunray and that nemodian on the control ship in Episode 1
Emperor Palpatine
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Jar Jar Binks
Han Solo
Leia Organa
Luke Skywaker
Darth Vader
Yoda

Not to mention I can do people from other shows/movies/games. (I think. I haven't tried doing that many others... >.>) Um, I can do some of the Muppets, Daxter from Jak and Daxter, um.... Oh yeah! And my SISTER! Yeah!

...Yeah... :XD:

Ross Perot: Ran third party for Prez in the 90s.
Elvis Presley
Herbert from Family Guy

Those are the three I can do on the fly without hearing the real thing first.

I can do Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie and Jen from the IT crowd. Her voice is strange haha.

I can do a fairly decent Admiral Ackbar(Star Wars Episode 6)

And my Prince Schneizel(Code Geass) isn't bad either
Most warriors would find it beneath them to attack a girl. Especially when she wasn't looking. No person with any honor or pride would ever do such a thing. I bid you farewell and good riddance. You're not even worth lamenting.-Uryu Ishida

Starscream's voice was the first I ever tried to impersonate as a kid, so it's kinda stuck with me throughout the years. Of course, my voice has gotten lower so now it's more akin to the most recent rendition. I can sorta do a G1/Live-Action Optimus Prime, and I'm half-working on a Solid Snake. Dunno what I'll ever use it for, mind you...

I can do an ok smeagol, well enough to freak my wife out so I can't practice it around the house anymore. i can also do Sid the sloth from ice age and the nerdy kid from the robot chicken star wars episode. It's basically the same voice as Sid's except Sid talks slower. Oh and I almost forgot Pain from disney's Hercules, although not as well as when I was a kid.

I like to think I can do Batman from Batman; The animated series, Joker from the same series, Ray from Gun X Sword. I can generally copy most people (Males, anyways) fairly easily if I listen long enough, but I can' remember how to do it again later :stressed:
The Creating of a Story, be it TV show, novel, video game, is process one can not undertake lightly. When you create a story, you had better be prepared for the emotional ties you will have to all characters, as they all come from you.

I can use Nyanko-sensei's favorite insult in his voice(in Japanese), and occasionally pull off MGS's Snake. Then I have confirmation that I can do a Shigure (Fruits Basket) imitation. I'd trade a week of cheeseburgers do be able to pull off Kurogane from Tsubasa, but alas, no such luck. TT_TT
