I am really excited to go see this movie. Kinda bummed that I've been too sick to go see it yet.

I'm not really into zombie movies but I loved 28 Days Later and Shaun of the Dead. Judging by the trailer, I'm guessing this is more like the latter (but American)? It looks good.

I would like to see this, but I'll probably wait a month or two until it comes out in the dollar theater.

Well, I have to wait until December for this movie to be released. Am not pleased.
This must be punishment for getting District 9 two days earlier than the US.

Rule #33: Go see this movie.

You know, it's statements like those that make me loath the fact I don't live in the USA.
Best comedy ... since Anchorman?!
I was only moderately excited for this movie. Now, based on that comment, I'm... I'm... I don't know what I am... adequately jubilant? Excited, for lack of a better term.
Well played madam, well played. *Tips hat, adjusts monocle*

Zombieland was a masterpiece.
Nothing more. Nothing less.

If Jamie says it is awesome, then I have no doubts that it is.
I'll try to see if I can see it. I do have this week off for Fall Break!

Warning though, it has a spoiler of the celebrity cameo appearance, and you definitely want to go into the movie without knowing that information. So you have been warned.

I don't know about
that. I've seen more meaningful Zombie flicks in the past. Definitely a fun popcorn muncher, though.

Im not sure if im going to see Zombieland my friends all say its amazing but from what i hear is there is a lot of swearing and a stupid unnessacary scene where there is a female zombie running wearing only tassels .........it is very unlikly that i will see this movie unless though it i have an opprotunity to share Christ with someone.
and i will say if you have convictions dont compromise them !

Yeah I dunno that I'd call Zombieland a masterpiece, but it was definitely great. At the very least, I'd say it was better than any movie that came out this year, not that it had much competition to be honest. District 9 and Inglorious Basterds were pretty good but I was far more entertained by Zombieland.
So yeah, not like four-star best movie of all time but I want to go see it again, which I can't say of any other movies I've seen this year, even the ones I liked.

I didn't notice a lot of swearing. No more than usual, at least. Also the pasties were literally all of three seconds in the intro and that was it. They get their grody out of the way in the first two minutes of the film for the most part and it's reasonably tame after that.

Yeah if you close your eyes during the opening credits sequence you'll miss out on the tassels and a decent portion of the gore honestly, and the credit sequence contributes nothing to the plot so you won't be missing anything else other than the content (though the way the people interact with the credits is kind of amusing).

I saw it today, and it was indeed AWESOME!
After the movie, my dad and I bought a box of Twinkies! We had to because it was a clever marketing ploy!
it was a great movie and it was AMAZING and awesome and teh bestest
but anyways i really like how they kept on emphasizing the rules, and it was a classic crazy zombie movie and it felt like one of the B zombie movies but it was still amazing. All in all great movie must see if you like zombie movies.

I'm actually gonna add a bit to this and say that people should see it even if they DON'T love zombie movies. XD I've never been a fan of horror flicks or zombies (Thriller used to terrify me when I was little even though I <333 it now XD), but I adored Zombieland. XD So yeah, I'd say give it a chance even if you don't like zombies but DO like really funny movies!

Is there really a character named Wichita in this movie? XD I kinda wanna see it because thats a huge city in my state.
Seriously though, Zombie movies usually scare me...Shaun of the Dead, though it was supposed to be funny, made me CRY.

Yay! I'm so excited! Zombieland looked so awesome and I've been wanting to see it, but I haven't really had the chance and hadn't heard anything about it until I read this thread.
I'll make my way to the theater soon I hope.

some parts are a bit gory but you just have to laugh that off, just think "that is so fake" and you will be fine

Zombieland is really different from Shaun of the Dead even though both are horror comedies involving zombies. In fact, Zombieland isn't really THAT scary...it's definitely icky, but it's not all that scary. There aren't a lot of jumpy sequences, but there are definitely enough to make your stomach turn.
