Are there any House fans here? I just got into the show last semester --I love it. Dr. House is a complete jerk, but is just so lovable. And smart.
So now I am trying to catch up. I rented Season One from Hastings and will watch it this weekend.
Is anyone else impressed that this British actor can do an American accent spot-on? Why is it that the British can do American accents so well, but Americans generally are not so great at doing British accents?

I love this show...even if I almost never watch it unless they have a marathon on USA or something...

Because Americans came from Britain? XD I honestly don't know, you'd think it'd work the oppisite if that were true. But oh well.
On topic, though, House is a pretty good show.
I used to love this show. But it's become so formulaic and boring that I can't stand it. Remember that one time we though House's team was gone?
And they brought them back?
And remember the one time we thought Wilson was leaving?
And he didn't?
Of course, there was that one time that one lady died. But no one liked her, anyway.
This show has the most spineless writers I've ever seen. They're too afraid to actually change anything, instead settling for cheap, easily-fixed drama about 99% of the time.
Of course, I haven't watched it ever since they brought Wilson back, so it might have changed.
I have seen all of it, so if there's been repetitiveness, it's not bothering me yet XD
I love the show, especially House. He's such a cool character. I also like Cuddy and Wilson.

I find the show enjoyable most of the time. I do agree that the writing of the show is pretty much the same in every episode, but they do it well. Basically this show goes in my "nothing great but still fun to watch" catagory.

I like House but I haven't seen it in a long time. I agree with Tarnish that it can be very set in its ways though.

I like House, too, but I only get to watch it sporadically. Eventually, I will Netflix/Blockbuster my way through it. Yeah, it can be repetitive, but I sort of like the formula--you know it's not the first three things they think of.
And for the longest time, I thought Cuddy's name was Cuttie.
Oh, and my theory on American actors not being able to fake accents well: we're one of the only countries in the world where everyone speaks just one language.
