My childhood favorite was Pocahontas....
(and if you count Studio Glibli, then it's Howl's Moving Castle)

I really forgot about those! It's been such a long time since I've seen those two movies. Another one I forgot to add was 101 Dalmatians. That's a good one.

Lion King. I watched it like 20 times when I was a kid and never got tired of it. In fact Id still watch it today.

I also loved the Fox and the Hound, Beauty and the Beast, Alladin, Pocahontas, and many others.

My instinct is to insist that The Emperor's New Groove is a modern classic and one of Disney's best animated films EVER, but I think by "classic" you really mean "old" so I'll go with Tron.

They all bring back nostalgia. I remember so much about all of 'em... And they remind me of my late grandma. <3 And the days of preschool.

You forgot The Little Mermaid though.

Lady and the Tramp, Dumbo, Snow White and the 7 Dwarves, Alice in Wonderland, Jungle Book, Bambi, Fantasia, and The Rescuers come to mind as well.

Beauty and the Beast is probably my favorite. Aladdin marks the end of my Disney fandom and Pocahontis is the first animated Disney movie I never bothered to watch. Emperor's New Grove is worthy, though.

One might think I've grown up, but that's hardly the case. I still watch more kid-oriented programming than adult. For some reason, the same type of gag on iCarly continues to amuse me while the same type of crime scene on CSI bores me.

My favorite of the ones listed is Beauty and the Beast, but I think my favorite of all would be either Aladdin or Aladdin and the King of Thieves.

Lion King, Fox and the Hound, and Beauty and the Beast!

Also, Lady and the Tramp and Aladin. There are some newer ones that I like, for instance, Emperor's New Groove. And the spin-off series of that, The Emperor's New School, is rather hilarious as well.

Lion King, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast and I guess The Little Mermaid though I think I've seen that one too many times and I actually find it a bit boring today. The others though I love still. And I saw each one of them in theaters twice except Beast. Only saw that once and we were late and missed the beginning :P

As far as old Disney movies, Sleeping Beauty. Really don't like much old disney movies but that's a good one. Watched it a ton when I was very little.

I watched this one to death as a child. Actually, this one and the ones I previously mentioned save for the newer one, I watched all of to death.

Ok, that last sentence makes little sense structurally... >.>

What do you mean by classics here? The really old stuff, or are the modern and relatively modern movies included? I don't consider The Lion King to be a particularly old movie. Not like Cinderella anyway...

If the latter, I'll throw out Mulan, The Lion King, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, more or less in that order...with The Emperor's New Groove up there somewhere.

Of Disney's truly old works...The Rescuers probably, with Robin Hood and 101 Dalmatians getting honorable mentions. This might be considered blasphemy by some of you, but I've never really been a huge fan of much of Disney's animated movies they released before the 90s...

Kingdom hearts cutscenes...

Really, I like them all. I thought I outgrew them until playing KH. Still don't watch them much. I voted "love them all," but just realized I should have voted "not listed," because I think Toy Story is my favorate.

I forgot about this one. I watched it a lot, too, but I don't think its as high as the others (obviously, I forgot about it).

I should have made this thread "Favorite Disney Movies" instead of "Favorite Classic Disney Movie". I wasn't thinking about alot of them (I can't believe I forgot Toy Story and 101 Dalmatians and alot others D: ). It's awesome to see that alot of you have a favorite ^^ I want to buy all of the movies to watch over and over, lol. XD

How dare you forget Fantasia?

Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan (gave me an unquenchable thirst for flying!), Robin Hood ("Come on lady fair lets go!"), Cinderella (anytime I find a small frightened creature I instantly dub it Gus-Gus. XD), The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Bambie, The Rescuers, The Rescuers Down Under, and for a more modern one, Treasure Planet (LOVE!). I'm sure I've forgotten some...

Did any of these classic children movies ever scare the pants off of anybody here when they were little (or now, lol!)?

You forgot to include the lots of the most classic Disney films in this poll; Snow White, Pinocchio, Bambi, Alice in Wonderland, The Sword in the Stone, the list goes on.

The Great Mouse Detective is the one I always liked the best though. My younger self was always terrified by the last part of the movie(with the clock tower), but I always loved watching the ending. XD

I forgot about The Rescuers, DuckTales:Treasure of the Lost Lamp and a movie I haven't seen in years is Little Nemo. I remember when I was a little girl, how obsessed I was over this movie. I watched it so many times the vhs got messed up. Man, I miss that movie.:(

Actually the only Fantasia I saw was Fantasia 2000 (I think that's what it was called). It was interesting. What other ones are out there?

Wowie, I feel old now. The movies that were newly released to theaters as a kid are now being dubbed "classic". Does this mean that I'm a classic now too? lol..

Anywho, if this is reworded into favorite Disney movie, The Emperor's New Groove takes the cake for me, followed by Beauty and the Beast. Mary Poppins and Mulan garner a high honorable mention for me as well.

Mary Poppins is a cool movie. I haven't seen it in a loooooong time. *Opens up umbrella and flies away* :D
